"The good ground hotel in Taichung is a nice place to stay. Even though it is situated in a busy area, you will be able to have a good night sleep. The room was spacious and equipped with cable tv, hairdyer. On the negative side,The decor was a bit old fashioned and the bathtub/shower needs updating. the breakfast was ok but it was chinese style, not continental as advertised. Nevertheless, a good place to stay in. " - caroline baugue

"Good Ground is value for money. The neighbourhood is a bit tacky but staff are friendly if not very fluent in english. (Neither am i in mandarin) I would recommend earplugs as there was a horrible noise in the building's airco system somewhere. " - bavo maria de man
