Good Ground Hotel Taichung

If they can provide a chair and some cups (not just disposable), it will be much better. Location is convenience.

The price should not be higher than 1000nt$ for this simple hotel. I regreted this booking much more once I saw the Holiday Inn express near by at 2800nt$ for a room for 2 adults ans one child....

The hotel is conveniently located in the city centre itself and very near to the Taichung Railway Station, not the High Speed Rail station.

good location, friendly, but if they have " breakfast ", it will be perfect...!

the reception lady is very friendly and helpful even offer to call taxi for us when we are leaving for high speed station and help us to carry the luggages to taxis. the aircon sound is very loud abit noisy affect sleep

Hotel is too far from the train station. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is not good and we could not get a second round of coffee because the machine broke down.

The good ground hotel in Taichung is a nice place to stay. Even though it is situated in a busy area, you will be able to have a good night sleep. The room was spacious and equipped with cable tv, hairdyer. On the negative side,The decor was a bit old fashioned and the bathtub/shower needs updating. the breakfast was ok but it was chinese style, not continental as advertised. Nevertheless, a good place to stay in.

fall sick when i arrived.. the receptionist and manager are very helpful and friendly with my enquiries.. there are clinic and a hospital within walking distance.. they even remember me the next morning and asked did i feel better..

Good Ground is value for money. The neighbourhood is a bit tacky but staff are friendly if not very fluent in english. (Neither am i in mandarin) I would recommend earplugs as there was a horrible noise in the building's airco system somewhere.

Stayed here my first night in Taichung before moving to the hostel at Fengchia Uni. Service was friendly (staff can speak a few words of english), room was clean although kind of run-down. Location is perhaps 5-10 minutes from the train station, which is convenient.

The hotel is located next to a KTV/games room, which may not be suitable for female travelers. However, the location is relatively ideal as it is near to Taichung train station and within walking distance to several night markets and parks. Room is ok with very basic amenities. Hot and cold water can be taken from the machine near to the elevator.

It is a VERY old hotel, but the bed is comfortable. Location is okay, but a bit dodgy. It is very close to Taichung park. Service is good. Great for budget travelers.

Bathroom has no shower curtains. Very big room. Services are excellent, staffs are very helpful. Hotel rooms a little old though. Nevertheless value for money. Breakfast is simple.

Hotel stuffs are very kind and they have warm service. Facilities are little old but enough to stay for a few days. To enjoy fashionable shopping is difficult but to enjoy local food and atomosphere is easy around the hotel.

Very satisfied with the friendly reception desk. room comfortable for three persons.
