Good Nite Inn Redwood City

I stayed here during a conference located at Stanford University. On a previous trip, I stayed at the Pacific Inn in Sunnyvale. However, more recent reviews suggested that that hotel had gone downhill since then. So this Good Nite hotel seemed to offer the best price for a decent room that I could find in the area. The room was a little dark and a bit grungy (old/stained carpet and furniture), but the sheets and towels were all white and clean. The hotel is only a few blocks from El Camino Real and all the public buses that run along there. It is also within walking distance (less than a mile or so) from the Redwood City Caltrain station. Wireless internet access is not free. The in-room fridge was really cold (a good thing). I did not use the pool since the weather was a bit cold while I was there. I did not try the free muffin breakfast either. Keeping in mind that you get what you pay for, I was not disappointed by this hotel. I wasn't particularly impressed by it either, though. It was conveniently located and relative affordable.

Good value, not too close from SFO airport, but near IHOP, chinese restaurant and a gym. Rooms facing roads are noisy

the hotel was ok, nothing special. we just needed a place to stay overnight and it was the cheapest online. [...] it took us longer to check in our hotel than it was to drive there.. other than that we had a great time

I have stayed at the Good Nite Inn before and each time was pretty good, comfortable room, nice staff.when I pulled into the parking area I notice smash glass from a bottle near a parking stall. I informed the staff about the glass, but when I left the following morning it was still there. also, I had problem with the door to my room not shuting completely, I had to give it a good shove or pull. this is the 1st time I have been disappointed with this estblishment in 5 stays.

Stayed here a few times its fine for the price no major problems would stay again

Upon arrival I felt that the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating , the room was awesome & very spacious !! The remodel was done extremely tasteful & I look forward to future stays here as well!! ;))

The hotel used a spray scent to suppress smells in the room. THis spray scent has an unpleasant smell itself. Pl do not use it. The hotel was otherwise good for its price.

Great place and great price....
