"The Gotico is a lovely hotel situated in a very convenient location in Barcelona. Ideal for exploring the old parts of Barcelona, the sea front and Las Ramblas. This is the second time that I have stayed in this Hotel. It can be a little noisy at the front of the hotel as it is on a very busy street, but if you get a bedroom on the 3rd or 4th floor this is not a problem." - Elizabeth Kerry

"i have seen hostels in better condition than this so call "4 star" hotel, it is old , dirty and in desperate need of a facelift but if you can get past that, it's situation is perfect for a weekend break in barcelona. Having said that there are several other hotels within one hundred meters of the Gotico and I would definately check them out before ustng the Gotico again." - joseph vickers
