"The Gotico is a lovely hotel situated in a very convenient location in Barcelona. Ideal for exploring the old parts of Barcelona, the sea front and Las Ramblas. This is the second time that I have stayed in this Hotel. It can be a little noisy at the front of the hotel as it is on a very busy street, but if you get a bedroom on the 3rd or 4th floor this is not a problem." - Elizabeth Kerry

"i have seen hostels in better condition than this so call "4 star" hotel, it is old , dirty and in desperate need of a facelift but if you can get past that, it's situation is perfect for a weekend break in barcelona. Having said that there are several other hotels within one hundred meters of the Gotico and I would definately check them out before ustng the Gotico again." - joseph vickers

The hotel was completely renovated in 1999. It is located in the city centre, in the heart of the "Barrio Gótico" (Old City), near the Town Hall and the Palace of the Autonomous Government, in a commercial area.
Eighty-one soundproofed rooms, some of which have a balcony. Rooms have air conditioning, heating, individual safety deposit boxes and minibars.
