"The hotel is very well located and has great charm. The room I stayed in was spacious, very clean and comfortable and surely one of the best beds I have experienced in hotels of that calibre. Bathroom was of good size, not as spacious as the room itself, but surely not tiny. Only issue I found was a door stopper placed right near the toilet seat, which on daylight was not a problem, but at night, if anybody decided to visit the bathroom with lights off, could have caused an accident and a lot of pain. "Communal areas had very strong smell of Mr Sheen furniture polish - didnt smell clean, smelt perfumed.
Bedroom nice although very small for a "super-king deluxe" - great bed, but no room for anything else!
Bathroom was very ordinary - a bit old, bath uninviting (not at all suitable for a long relaxing soak), cheap finish - quite unlike expectation from a luxury hotel these days.
Room service food good - nice curry well presented and lovely fruit salad.
Why no valet parking? With typical sydney traffic, added approx 20 mins onto my check-in time to park the car myself.

Plaza Parking has a special rate of $40 available to Hotel guests for each 24 hour period required (multiple entries allowed). The car park entrance is located on Clarence Street at the rear of the Hotel.
Parking is available on a first come/first served basis. Should the car park reach capacity, Plaza Parking Attendants will redirect guests to the closest alternative parking facility. |
