Great value for money 5 star hotel. For just 176 euros per night, we had a beautiful suite complete with balcony with magnificent views over the city. Would recommend having a good street map of Seville before arrival, especially if driving, as the one-way system of cramped streets without good signposts does prove rather vexing.
The hotel has a very good location and the lobby is very nice. On the other hand the rooms have no quality for a 5 star hotel, as they have a poor decoration and are very small.
In general the hotel was very good, but we don't understand why this hotel has been rated with five stars. It even didn't have a swimming pool.
Well situated near shops the breakfast we very good.
The only small problem experienced at the Melia Colon in Seville, was that the room was far too hot - and this we found, was not just our room, or indeed floor. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay enormously.
Really enjoyed our recent stay here. Having stayed in the old town before I would stay in this area in preference now. quiet convenient to all areas, including the triana at night. They let us check in at 11am.
The facilities are little bit old. It took a long time for the hote water to come. However the hotel is in the center of the city, we could sleep well, it was very good for us.
Classy older style hotel in a perfect location. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
This is a grand old hotel, very nice and very helpful staff. The location is excellent - shopping streets and historical sites close by.
I was most impressed with the staff and service at the hotel. My bank card was stolen during my stay, and the customer service person, Maria, was WONDERFUL in helping me get internet and phone service to cancel it. She was very sweet and even followed up with me later, as i also came down with flu.......she brought me a plate of fruit. Very thoughtful. If I´d had some more time I would have purchased a gift for all of them, the front desk staff AND maids were just wonderful.
Delighted with my stay here - excellent facilities and location, friendly and welcoming staff.
Very impressive appearance and public spaces. Rooms are nice too, however bathrooms could use freshening. Hotel is located a few blocks from the main tourist attractions, but near the Art Museum and bullring. Hard to find, but we walked everywhere without trouble. We enjoyed our stay though and would probably stay there again. We recommend the horse and carriage ride around town. It was a great way to see all the major sights in a speedy, fun and cost effective way.
