Getting there:When leaving the airport, follow the city center signals. You will be arriving at Palma along the sea promenade. Drive always straight on. You will leave the cathedral on your right and side and approx. 500 mts. further, you will see on the same side a few windmills on the top of a hill. Prepare yourself to turn to the right just after you reach the Café Cappuccino. On this new street take the first turn on the left. Now you will be driving along an avenue lined with trees called Marques de la Cenia. Follow always straith on, since this avenue changes its name soon afterwards, becoming Joan Miró Av. The hotel is situated in n.21 on the left hand side and can be easily reconigzed due the columns and the archs.

The Gran Melia Victoria is a very nice hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and our room was extremely clean and nice. At check-in they saw it was my husband's birthday and sent a bottle of champagne. The hotel is located a little outside of the historic center, but it is a nice walk along the water (maybe 15 - 20 mins) to get to the cathedral. My only negative would be that, although the hotel is extremely nice, it is maybe just a little bit "80's", as is much of that area of Palma. But hey, just pretend your last name is Carrington. I did see on many reviews that the hotel has a lot of noise. We were there off-season, and there was no noise...but there are many bars and clubs in the area, so it has the potential to be a little loud, I'm sure. All in all, a great hotel with wonderful staff!
Excellent hotel, well located. if you are staying here avoid city view rooms though, some are small and not reflective of the 5 star nature of this hotel. sea view rooms are very good.

Great hotel in a lovely location facing marina. We stayed in a double delexe room with a huge bed and spacious balcony overlooking pool & marina, breakfast & service good.

Excellent hotel in ideal quiet location. Only one problem is the gym is not operational and is not suitable for use. Drinks around the pool area are expensive in comparison to the rest of the hotel (including the mini bar in the room). Breakfast is excellent and pool area is the cleanest we had ever seen.
