Grand Cadenabbia Hotel Como

A wonderful experience as a mature woman travelling alone. Perfect location on Lake Como. I had a lake-view room -well worth the extra $$. I took the local bus to and from the town Como, and it was a fabulous trip. I just wish the sun had made an appearance !

Excellent hotel, we had the lake view and it was well worth it. Abit out of como town centre but the ferry stop to belaggio is only 100m away. Highly recommended. (interesting drive from como to the hotel)

location is nice when you have a car, very close to the ferry pier that takes you over to Bellagio. The hotel has great views especially from the 5th floor restaurant and balacony, but the facilities, renovations and furnitures are very old and basic, TV is extremely small (only 10 or 12 inch).

The hotel is in a beautiful location with a great view of Como. While it is quite a distance from Como town, there are so many places to visit around the lake that this is not a big problem. The hotel is lovely, staff are freindly and nice, but the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired.

Room we got face Cadenabbia main street so it was very noisy all night long. Other than that stay was excellent.

The hotel is in a prime location with a splendid 4th floor sun terrace overlooking Lake Como. We stayed in mid-May when staffing levels were low and it showed. The new lift system is very slow and would be totally inadequate in high season. The restaurant served only one fixed menu with very limited choices and only dinner. Access to the sun terrace was bizarre outside bar times.

Excellent welcoming and services. Prices not too expensive (inc. restaurant) and in accordance with the classification. One of the best view on lake (located mid-lenght). I intend to come back in this hotel.

The hotel was quite nice and we had a really nice view from the balcony the to lake. The sun-deck was also nice with a great view. The room was very spacious and clean. If you are very sensitive to noice, the hotel might not be the best one for you: there was noice from the street, corridore and other rooms. I managed to sleep quite well with earplugs, though. There are not that many good restaurants next to the hotel but we did find a couple we were really happy with. You can also catch the last ferry from Belaggio after dinner.

Impressive hotel, grand early 20th building with an impressive reception floor, rooms are clean but small and a little dated, but they have impressive views of the lake, some have terraces. The restaurant is very well presented on the last floor, bathed in sun in the morning with fantastic views of the lake. We paid €90 per night through [your website] in April for a double room with a lake view (standard price is €150 I think) and I thought this was very good value for the service and the area.

Stunning location (even in winter) and a beautiful hotel - an older or family crowd and not a lot open in winter, but very romantic nevertheless.

Lovely hotel, gorgeous setting, great views, great rooms & great breakfast. Its not actually in the town of Como though - its about a 1/2 hr taxi ride (about 60 euro), but if you are aware of that up front, where the hotel is situated is just lovely. Close to some fantastic restaurants. Glad I stayed here rather that in the town itself - very relaxing.

nice hotel, and good location, but not sure why the hotel name outside the building does not show as Grand Cadenabbia Hotel. Again making it a bit hard to find our accommodation when we were driving.

A very good hotel on a very beautiful location. The breakfast on the 5th floor was excellent. The service very good. The room was nice (one wall were a litlle bit unfinished) and the balcony fantastic! The relac floor (4th) was very nice to sit with the beautiful lakeview We will come back to this hotel!

It was out special occasion weekend getaway. We called hotel in advance to notify about it. When we arrived staff never acknowledged us. We booked lake view room originally, but when we walked into our room it looked more like a walk in closet with a lake view- not a room. We had to keep one of our luggages in the bathroom because it would not feet into the room. The lake is gorgeous, there is a ferry that goes to Belagio every half an hour. Buy if you don't want to be attached to the ferry schedule all the time, I would recommend to stay in Belagio, it is much better location than Cadenabbia (there is really nothing in Cadenabbia) Breakfast was pretty good, eggs bacon and other snacks. Breackfast room has a killer view of the lake. We later found out that this hotel is really a Pension which attracts mostly retired people. So if you are a young couple or solo traveler, I would keep searching for other hotels. There are many of them in better location and better price.

we had a great time at the hotel, service was very good. breakfast included. highly reccomended. the hotel on a slow ferry is 2 hours away and fast ferry is 45 minutes from como.

Very nice hotel, good location, breakfast is very good. Friendly staff. But aircondition is break down, water leak fm aircondition at our room.
