Excellent facilities.
What a gem. You can't go past this hotel for value. The room was modern and clean, the service friendly and first class. Good food in the restaurant and free car parking to boot. A bit out from the city centre but that's small beer compared to what this hotel offers for the money.

I can't fault our stay at the Grand Chifley, we will definitely be booking again, the buffet breakfast was outstanding, to have it included in our booking was an added bonus. Free car parking is also a draw card. Five Stars.
fine for a short stay, didnt like shower over bath and there was only tea making facilities didnt even have a toaster .
A comfortable getaway, near the heart of the City but with great views.
Excellent stay and appreciated the upgrade to Exec room
The refurbed bathroom is great.
Room, Resturant/Bar and Front Desk were all I could ask for. This is a reasonably priced hotel within very easy walking distance of the CBD. I would not think twice about staying there again. I would also like to take this opportunity to compliment the Resturant/Bar staff for their friendly and efficient service.
Everything needed was provided, staff very friendly and helpful, affordable accommodation and within walking distance to CBD. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and reccomend it to anyone going to Adelaide.
I chose to stay at the Grand Chifley because we were travelling to Adelaide during a heat wave and wanted to stay somewhere reasonably priced, that was nice and have access to a pool. In the future I will probably stay at the Chifley because its got the better pool and costs a little less per night (although I do not know what the rooms are like at the Chifley). Nevertheless the Grand Chifley was good if you weren't fussed about the accessibility to a pool.
Nice hotel in good location. Rooms small but adequate, service average but quick to respond to complaints. Check-in early a problem and not available even though they had advance notice that our plane arrived in the morning. Had to wait until afternoon before checking in which was a minor inconvenience. Restaurant had great food but was a bit over-priced. Overall good experience and would stay there again when visiting Adelaide.
The only complaint that I think justified is the rather loud noise that the balcony sliding doors make on opening and closing. This noise appears amplified throughout your room when other nearby rooms access their balcony.
Pleasant, clean, quiet and comfortable bed. Bathroom amenities were excellent.
Very limited room service menu a little disappointing - but room and bathroom very nice, clean and smaet.
overall impresson is good, yet the hotel is a bit away from the town .
We stayed in the superior room which was good value for the small amount extra it cost us.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Chifley on Sat 9/5/09. Anthony at the desk made us most welcome and the room was clean and pleasant. The price which included a full breakfast in lovely new dining room just topped off our overnight stay in the city on Sunday morning along with the 2 free drinks at the bar before we went out on Saturday afternoon. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Very friendly and efficient staff, made me feel welcome immediately. Great location, gorgeous views from the upper floors. Balconies give you that lovely breath of fresh Adelaide air and allow you a space to take in the Adelaide Hills and park lands.
The Deluxe Room was in need of an update, due to it's age it looked dirty. Small balcony had pigeon faeces all over railing. The pool was in the front of the property next door. Getting to the pool required walking through the restaurant or the front lobby of the Chifley. The pool was covered and leaves were everywhere. Friendly staff, good location.
