"Good location for shopping and walking tours from the zoo station.
Staff very helpful and the hot buffet breakfast is excellent. The bar is very pricey at 12.60 euros for a pint and a glass of wine!! Go left out of the main doors down to the corner to the filmbuhne where you will get good food and drink at a very resonable price.
We would stay at this hotel again, but not on the top floor as the air con is a bit noisy! but didn't stop us from sleeping." - Nick Dowling

The four-star Grand City Excelsior Hotel Berlin is located in the
centre of Berlin, within walking distance of the famous shopping
boulevard Kurfürstendamm. The Zoological Garden, Europa
Center, Victory Column, KaDeWe department store and many
more interesting sights are easily reached on foot.
The Grand City Excelsior Hotel Berlin features 316 modern rooms
and suites. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, flatscreen
& pay TV, tea and coffee making facilities, WLAN , telephone and
minibar. The hotel also offers five meeting rooms with a maximum
capacity of 120 persons. A spacious lobby, the hotel bar and two
restaurants invite guests to stay. Parking is also available in both of
the hotel’s carparks, one of which is underground.
Subway, tram and city bus connections are all found in the immediate
vicinity. Tegel airport may be reached easily by bus (approx.
20 min.), Schönefeld airport with the Airport Express train (approx.
30 min.).

The next main station is "Zoologischer Garten" only a walking distance to all public transportations (city-train or underground). From The airport Tegel or Schoenefeld, the TXL or SXL is arriving close to the main entrance of the hotel. If you drive by cap it will take approxamately 30 minutes. |
