The Hotel Berlin is a private owned hotel with spacious and elegant interior. Close located to the center of town. The subway station „Berliner Tor“ is just 150 m away. The hotel has 93 rooms on 7 floors, restaurant, bar, terrasse and conference facilities, international kitchen, show cooking place. Parking place and parking garage is free of charge. The hotel is personal leaded with a cosy atmosphere. The staff always try to be in touch with the guests, like there is no automatic alarm – clock, but a friendly „good morning“. Further we are helpful in organizing personal programms, like reservation and recommending of restaurants, ticket booking, etc.

Well-managed hotel that doesn't show its age. The staff work hard to maintain high standards. Being adjacent to Berliner Tor metro makes for easy travel around HAmburg, but out-of-centre location means lower rates than equivalent hotel in the city centre.
the staff were awesome, gave us free drinks because our room was 10 minutes late, booked us cabs, got us late breakfast, really nice hotel.
We felt that the refilling of the Breakfast buffet was much to slow.

excellent stay. The hotel has no AC though, so if you need one, stay away from here. If not: ecellent place to stay.
Hotel location is good, it's about a 15 min walk into the main shopping street, or 5 mins to the nearest train station, staff in the hotel reception were brilliant and very helpful, advising that we got a "Hamburg card" that allowed us to travel on any train or bus free - this card allows up to 5 people to travel on it (that price is for altogether - not each, BRILLIANT VALUE) I have stayed in loads of hotels around the world, and to be honest I am not quite sure what makes this hotel a 4 star, I would say it's only a 3* - but my over all experiance both in hamburg and the hotel was brilliant!
Little bit old fashion but large rooms and good furnished and good service
Rooms beginning to look a bit tired and could do with some upgrade. Food very good in the restaurant, Overall a good hotel but for the location and standard of rooms, considered to be a bit over-priced.

Our room was really spacious, clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was large and tasty. Location is maybe not the best in the city, but the hotel is just few steps from S- and U-bahn stations so that wasn´t any problem. Hotel staff was extremely skilled, friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at Berlin Hotel Hamburg again on our next visit and we warmly recommend it to anyone who needs accomondation in Hamburg!
