Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore

Overall we had a great 4 days at the Grand Copthorne. Our room was terrific with a great view of the river and the Singapore Flyer in the distance. We could walk to dinner one night to a quayside restaurant, but the hotel is not close to the MRT so we also needed to take cabs frequently to get out for touring. The executive lounge is okay, comfortable with a good view and friendly staff, but not a large selection of appetizers during cocktail time.

Arrived early evening, check in went smoothly. Luggage arrived within few miutes of arriving in room. Totally satisfied with our stay. Look forward to another stay when next opportunity arises. Thank you

Stayed for 2 nights on the way to Europe. Staff very friendly, efficient and helpful. Received an upgrade to the executive club level which made the stay even more enjoyable. Would stay here again.

We are shoppers and Hotel is too far away from the action. You need to catch cabs (taxi's are cheap and no hassles in Singapore). Bit stingy on giving 1 bar of soap for 3 people. Other wise hotel is genuine 4 star and staff pleasant. Reported a blown light and they had it fixed by the time we returned that day - good result.

We had booked a Club room, the room was very dated and badly in need of renovation, so we were transfered to the next catagory of room, that was better as it had a seperate shower and two easy chairs. We were told that all rooms were in the process fo renovation. The location of the hotel is very scenic, with the opportunity of walks along the river, but not convienient for the MRT, so it meant paying for plenty of taxis, average cost to most areas $6. We found the staff in the executive club and the duty managers to be very helpful and professional.

We booked a triple room but on arrival were upgraded to a serviced apartment. The only negative regarding the accommodation is the location which is a little way from the main tourist areas and there is no metro nearby. However, it only takes about 15 minutes to walk to Chinatown and taxis are readily available. We were very happy with the accommodation and would use it again.

We spent three nights at this hotel. I cannot say the room was grand in size but quite adequate. We had breakfast daily which was good value. You need to get a taxi from this area, but taxi's are very reasonable and most tours pick up and deliver you back to hotel. If was a lovely walk along the riverside past the many hotels where it is peaceful during the day and comes to life at night. The whole Singapore experience was wonderful.

It was a good stay. Friendly staffs and definitely enjoyed the privileges of the executive club. The lounge was cosy.

Had a pleasant stay at the Copthorne. Staff were very helpful and although booked out the following day, did allow us to check out an hour later than normal so we could go on a tour. We were able to use the hotel facilities after checking out as we had a very late flight home. The room was lovely. We had extensive views across Singapore from our 24th floor room. We would be happy to stay at this hotel again.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Room always cleaned and tidied, everything provided for. Service was consistently good.

My wife and I love this hotel and have stayed here on four occasions now. It is a beautifully run hotel with top facilities and is situated near a shopping centre too. The staff are friendly and efficient and make our stay very enjoyable each time.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel once againl. It is our fourth stay in this very comfortable and friendly hotel. It is efficiently run and make you feel most welcome. We find the hotel position very suitable, near a shopping centre too.

Nice and clean with friendly staff that were always willing to provide assistance. Suitable for parents with young kids.

With the price I paid, I feel it is a bit too expensive for the room size.

stayed in room 802 - extremely small and wall paper was pealing off. The hotel is old but in good conditions overall. There are some maintenance work. Absolutely ridiculous that had to wait more than 30 min. to get our luggage delivered to the room not in a rush hour. Moreover, price do not include breakfast - internet is against payment (extremely expensive). Tiles around swimming pool slippery.

Good Hotel in a strategic location, just 5 minutes drive to Orchard Road area but without its crowded streets. I have tried De Luxe and Executive rooms, the last at the 30th floor with a great view. Breakfast is very rich and can satisfy all the customers. Not tried yet lunch or dinner, but I have heard are really valid. I will come back again, maybe in a lowest season, the price was a little bit high.

Very good location and friendly. efficient service. Would highly recommend this hotel, have stayed several times and would stay again.
