"Grand Hotel de la Minerva is a old hotel, so it might suit people looking for a feeling of the 'old' continent, but is far from the present standards of modern deluxe hotel. "only fault of hotel would be the pricing.i paid 300 euro per night in january which is quiet time.5 star its suppose to be but its more 4 to 4 half star but you should expect that in mainland europe.location is excellent close to everything.i would reccomend it.i suppose location is what you pay for. "Very grand and spacious hotel - we recieved great service from the receptionists and concierge were helpful. The room was 5 star as you expected it - very spacious and very high ceilings. It had a walk-in wardrobe and spa-bathtub. Toiletries were of a high standard. Our room looked out onto the back of the Pantheon which was a pretty amazing site to look at and the location is walking distance from tourist attractions such as Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and the major shopping street in Rome. There is also a great Italian Restaurant nearby at the Piazza D'Ignazio which was awesome home- made italian style food at really reasonable prices - Bill Clinton ate here as well! " - Anonymous
