Grand Diamond Suites Hotel Bangkok

The staff was friendly. Check in and check out was easy and fast. The location is good for shoppers. Shopping mall and food outlets just next door with Pratunam market just across. Room was spacious and clean. The kettle was useful for making hot drinks. The bed was hard though. There was a good spread at breakfast and we enjoyed it. The fresh coconut juice was a good touch. Good value hotel.

Nice clean Hotel. Location- beside the platinum Mall and just across the street is the pratunam shops ( if you want to buy inexpensive clothings). Delicious buffet breakfast.

Wonderful hotel with excellent location. A must to stay for crazy shopper like me who love wholesale market buys!

Execellent location as it is just next to wholesale market which is BEST for crazy shopper like me. A thumbs up for this hotel!

The room was clean but the building was quite old and stuffy. The restaurant serve halal food, but they also have non-halal food section. Close proximity to shopping areas makes it really easy to move around.

My second executive room was very good , and staff and facilities were excellent and professional , wonderfull breakfast, thank you grand diamond . Cannot wait for my next stay.

Very clean and spacious suite. Just next to Plantinium Fashion Mall. Price a little expensive and too far from skytrain and MRT. Hotel should provide free shuttle transport to & fro major shopping malls, eg MBK, Siam Paragon, etc like majority hotels around the vicinity but still enjoyed our stay very much.

Because of the building works, the hotel had a musty smell along the lift lobbies and the room had to be aired when we checked in. However, the junior suite and toilet were very roomy (although a little old) and we enjoyed our stay. Despite some online comments of bedbugs, we did not have the problem. The plus point is definitely the location! Situated just beside Platinum Mall, it's great!

Excellent and Kind Staff. Wonderful Service. Excellent location. The hotel is inbetween Pantip Plaza (electronics) and Platinum Fashion Mall(cloth, accessories). Have good indian restaurants around 300metres. Definitely will stay in the same hotel during my next visit to Bangkok.

We stayed at the executive suite, 26th floor. Needs a major renovation: from carpeting, curtains, furnitures, painting. The TB was the only one refurbished. Television sets are outdated inspite of staying at the executive suite. There's a kitchenette but you can only use the microwave, no utensils, no pans, no plates. if you're a platinum mall addict, this is the hotel to stay. Quite scary at area at night because of the crowd. The next time I go to BKK, I will get a hotel near the sky train for convenience to nicer malls, restaurants & groceries. An area where it's safer. It's just sad that tourists are not that much compared to the last time I was there 3 yrs ago. The airport was not as busy as before.

Great location to shop around Pratunam area as hotel is tucked between Platinum Mall (wholesale mall) and Pantip Plaza (IT mall). Hotel’s under renovation and entrance is on a side road with make-shift shelter that is inadequate during a downpour. Horrendous Bangkok traffic also made turning in from the main road a test of patience. Without a subway in close vicinity, you get around by walking or taking taxi. Stayed in a Junior Suite on a non-smoking floor hence there wasn’t smoke stench; but room has musty smell as the hotel is quite established and room is tired with well-worn carpet. Kitchen was not equipped with cutleries. Hence we had to improvise when we bought food from roadside stalls that packed soup or soup noodles in plastic bags without cutleries. Another drawback was the room internet access charges: 350 Baht for 2 hours! Breakfast was decent with great porridge. Big draw was the young coconut that was not offered in other Bangkok hotels that we've stayed before.

Issues with the elevator really need to be addressed by the hotel. The check in was long due to the inattentativeness of the clerk - prioritising other people and the phone over us standing in front of him. We requested a high floor without noise and was told there wasn't one - we went to the room allocated on the 19th floor and found it very noisy - we went back to the desk and was helped by another clerk to move to another area of the hotel and a higher floor (25th) - so there was another possiblity after all!!! much quiter even though it was a smoking floor this was much prefered over the incredible traffic noise from the lower floor.

Fantastic. Have been to Bangkok 10 times and stayed in Pratunam. This hotel although decor is dated has what is required to enjoy a restful holiday. It is advised by this traveller that you dont stay below the 10th floor as it is VERY noisy. The breakfast each day was comparative to the Indra and Baiyoke hotels with the added benefit of Cappucino's. The hotel staff were extremely helpful but DO NOT use the antiquated hotel scales as a guide for luggage as they are around 4 kgs out. Location is great surrounded by good food halls to eat dinner for those on a budget. Recommended+++

The room is very small for triple. Toilet is big and clean. Best location just next to Wholesale Fashion Shopping Mall and Computer Complex. Many eating areas and massaging service within the vicinity. Must try the massage service at Pratunam Centre at 150Baht for 60 minutes whole body massage.

We have stayed here twice on this visit. Once was a two day stay and we were placed on the 11th floor (this is only the second floor of accommodation) We did not get any sleep due to the loud Bangkok traffic. This was rectified on our second visit a week later. Much much better we were placed on the 20th floor with a smaller room but much quieter. It is a good location, the rooms are a little dated but very spacious with the lounge/kitchen and sep bedroom. There are no cooking utensils within the room nor plates which is odd when there is a full size fridge, microwave and hotplates. Good value for money. Tip - do not use hotel scales as being accurate we were out two kilos per bag and had 7 bags. It amounted to a lot of embarrassment at the airport trying to repack the bags to get the correct hand luggage and checked luggage ratio.

Great convenient hotel for clothes shopping. Great massages for those aching feet and muscles. Rooms clean and tidy and having that extra bit of space. Internet a little pricy but help desk worked when the internet didn't!!

The location is very good, however, the aircond in our living room was leaking and they did not replenish our body shampoo because they saw we still have half bottle.

This is the best hotel/location for shopper-holic. Platinum Fashion mall is just right beside the hotel!!! And lot of wholesales markets/shops across the road too. Definitely will stay in this hotel for future Shopping Agenda

the best thing in this hotel is the location but each time i go and i ask for an iron machine they dont have any now all hotels are having an iron machine in each room but this hotel does not have any the card system they use is very bad .. cards suddenly stops .. and you can only go to your floor using this card in the lift if you forgot your card you can not go to your floor , if you have relative in other floors you cant go because your card goes only to one floor
