Grand Hotel Atlantic Palace Sorrento

"Quite good, however little bit faded hotel, but in bad location. It is not in walking distance from Sorrento (also danger busy traffic on the roads without side-walk) and you must register for the shuttle bus for exact time in the reception, so you must know in the morning, when exactly you want to come back in the evening - little bit inconvenient system. The safe deposit in the room did not work all 4 nights, apart from the fact I asked servicing every morning. Very good breakfast. Because of transportation inconveniencies I would prefer accomodation directly in Sorrento next time." - Josef Sleha

"This hotel was definately did not meet my expectations. Upon arriving the bathroom was grotty with hair folicals in both the sink and in the bath and we had to ask for it to be re-cleaned. The rooms were old and needed renovating. The location was about 20 minutes walk from the main town of Sorrento and unless you took the hotel bus (which you had to book in advance and was not running every half an hour) you could pay for a bus or walk along the road to the town which is somewhat dangerous as the roads are winding and narrow. "i was extremely impressed by this hotel. for the price i paid it was an awesome hotel. i would definitly recommend this hotel to everyone. the rooms very clean and spacious, the service was very friendly, the restaurant food was of a high quality, and the pool facilities was great. The hotel is located a little out of town which was good as the hustle and bustle could not be heard, very peaceful. it was about a 15 min walk. Great stay!!" - Joanne Stefan

"Nice hotel - but slightly out of the centre of Sorrento (you can walk it still - but there is no pedestrian path). There is a good local bus service every 20mins that takes you directly into the centre of town. Nice breakfast and bar area (very 70's style though)" - Damian Cramp
