"Unbeatable for location, superb facilities - the stunning atrium bar and the rooftop-palace-view bar (the only place overlooking the Forbidden City!) in particular. Rooms also outstanding, as is the attention to detail. Most of the staff actually spoke intelligible English. Of course, with all that superior standard you have to pay for it, especially drinks, although the superb Sichuan restaurant "Rong Yuan" was actually not all that overpriced (especially for what you got). "An excellent location and facilities. I don't think that the training and management are as service oriented as in many other countries. The staff are obliging, but don't yet understand the level of client assistance that a 5 star hotel requires. Regardless, I would stay there again and I would book a palace view room.
