Grand Hotel Copenhagen

Hotel is one block from the front of the Central Station - turn back in the direction the train came in from if you are coming from the airport. We unfortunately left the back of the station and had to walk down several blocks of cobblestone streets to find the hotel. The staff did provide us with a ferry brochure but directions were brief and incomplete. We did have a map so found our way ok on our own. They also loaned us a converter plug for our laptop. The room was small and there were 2 very small half bathrooms: one with small sink and toilet and the other was a tiled shower room with sink and a shower curtain to block water from ruining the door. The hotel was clean was probably very elegant in its time but could use a facelift.

The hotel is at the heart of the city, next to the central train station and next to Tivoli. The breakfast is good, however the room is small and the bathroom is even smaller.

Not bad, not bad at all

The room was very small- loft room, not enough for two people and their suitcases. I have my suitcase on the night table. I cant stand on my side of bad. No safe-deposit box in room, no fridge, only one 50 cm wardrobe. If I hadnt prepaid, I would have canceled my stay and looked for another hotel.

Nice location, but little bit noisy surroundings.

A bit old and tired, the bathroom especially needed renovation. It had free wifi which was good, ever hotel should provide this.

Small but clean and comfortable room. Hotel very close to Central station. Excellent varied breakfast included in price.

Staff very helpful. I think this hotel is overpriced due to very small room and even smaller bathroom.

Poor, old and tidy facilities anyhow in the spot of the city.

Nice hotel in the center of Copenhagen, close to the central station and Tivoli (2 minute walk). Large amount of rooms which can give problems at breakfast, solved quickly by the staff. I would recommend this hotel.

excelent restaurant Frascatti

The price was good for the city, but not particularly a great value. The location is great...next door to Tivoli and easy walk to Stroget and the harbor. We did not eat in the hotel but there is an Italian restaurant connected to the hotel. We were able to check in at noon and standard check out is at noon. No hotel noise to speak of, some street noise if the window is open (of course!!)

Excellent central location but It needs a serious face lift. Very small wardrobes,no room for storing the suitcases and old carpets. Staff is very helpfull but overloaded.

As a 4 star hotel this was a bit disappointing - small room, electric cable hanging from ceiling, no complimentary coffee in room. Good central location close to railway station, but room quite noisey late into the evening.

Good to get a smoking room. The room was on the other hand quite small. Some of the lights in the room were not working. Staff was friendly.

Hottel is worn-out. It looks beter in pictures as in real life.

Location is great for the railway station. Breakfasts were good and I particuarly recommend the pancakes, bacon and maple syrup option. The room was clean but small. Fixtures and fittings were dated and a bit worn in places. Little evidence of the recent refurbishment in the room that we stayed in. Also rooms at the front were very noisy.

Very small bath room equiped with extremelly small sink , Water pressure is not enough even at second floor.
