Getting there:By Road: Follow the signs on the M25 for M23 (Gatwick Airport/Brighton) then take the M23/A23 towards Brighton, then the A27 to Lewes, then Eastbourne. Follow the signs to the seafront. The Grand Hotel is situated at the western end of the front, opposite the Western Lawns. By Rail: A twice hourly service operates from London Victoria to Eastbourne - 90 minutes. By Air: Gatwick M23/A23 towards Brighton and then the A27 Brighton to Eastbourne road. Direct rail link from the Airport to Eastbourne - 50 minutes. Heathrow via M25 anti-clockwise/J7 (Brighton) - 1 hour 45 minutes.

Car parking:The Grand Hotel has its own carpark which can accommodate up to 90 cars. Complimentary parking is allocated on a first come, first served basis, although guests can pre-reserve a parking space for an additional charge of £25.00 per day. Blue Badge holders can pre-reserve parking without charge.
Child Policy:Children - aged 2 years and under stay free, Breakfast and High Tea included. 3 - 12 years will be charged £10 per day to include Breakfast and High Tea. 13 - 16 years will be charged £12.50 per day to include breakfast with substantial discounts on restaurant dinner. The Hotel has an OFSTED approved playroom for children aged 3 and over, open every weekend and throughout the school holidays.

What a refreshing change to go to a hotel and be treated as a person instead of a number. Excellent personal service, food excellent in wonderful surroundoings. We would definately re-visit.
Public rooms rather grand, but bedrooms a little faded. The food was excellent in the Garden restaurant
The Hotel lived up to our expectations, the staff were friendly and welcoming. A really nice experience. It was a special occasion for us and the Hotel made it even more special.
Very high level of service at this hotel, which is reflected in the cost. Bar & food prices are expensive compared to the local area, but reflect the high calibre of personal service that comes with them. Always book the restaurants in advance, to be seated at a reasonable time, they are very popular. Everyone shoyuld stay here at least once, and enjoy the experience.

We have travelled all around the world staying in four star plus hotels; this is undoubtedly THE BEST Hotel we have ever stayed at! Will definitely be going again.
