A CLEAN ROOM FOR 1 NIGHT STAY. THE ROOM WAS SIMILAR TO OTHER ITALIAN LAYOUTS WITH ITS OWN BATHROOM. LOCATED ABOUT 1 MILE FROM THE OCEAN.

Ten minutes walk to the beach. Rooms with large bathrooms and a terrace.

good service but the place needs a good make over.

10 min walk from the beach and with nice pool area. Rooms are little outdated, but very spacious and adequately comfortable. Service is excellent at reception. WIFI in lobby. Cost of taxi from airport to hotel 35,- euro.

Breakfast was basic buffet, quite simple, no many choices. Good beds and pillows - the pillows wasn't big as they tend to be in many hotels. (Too big billow is not ergonomic.) Quiets rooms.

This hotel is ideally situated for both Pisa and the beach being only a 10 min walk from the latter. The hotel appears to be about 30 years old and no improvements have been made since! The room was a reasonable size & although we had a view over a flat roof of the restaurant there was a small balcony to sit on with a table & chairs to enjoy the evening sun. The furnishings look tired & the bathroom was dated as were all the public areas. The pool area was nice with sunbeds & there is a large patio area for outside dining. There is free wifi access & free internet connection. The breakfast was the usual continental one with a small but adequate range of various items. We did not have any other meals in the hotel as the range on offer was not very appetising. Lunch was informal & was mainly snacks. All the staff were helpful and cheerful. We enjoyed our stay as the facilities suited us but 4 stars does not compare to the ones in the UK.

Accomodation a little bit old (necessitates refurbishing to stay a 4 stars hotel) But good value for the price. Breakfast perfect.

Disappointing for a four star hotel. Have been in much better (even 3 star) hotels in Italy. Hotel and rooms needs to be renovated and updated to 2008 standards. No atmosphere which is a shame for such a hotel at such a location. Glad room price was cheap otherwise would have been even more disappointed.

It is an old Hotel with old structure, rooms but very spacious and very good service.

Pool was dirty (end of peak season though, I suppose) and hotel generally looked like it could use a spring clean - curtains washed, etc. Seemed to be overstaffed as well. On the whole nice hotel with a good location though :-)

Good hotel,even though a little dated.Well run,clean,very helpful and friendly staff,nice quiet area surrounded by pine trees.Pool and poolside area nice and relaxing

Slightly dated decor but good facilities and great staff. Car advisable but not essential.

Stayed 2 nights Sept 07 - handy for airport, Pisa and travelling down along the coast. Looks and is a little dated, but peaceful location, walking distance to beach and town's restaurant. Dinner not really great, so try out some of the town's restaurants. Laundry bags in room, but not laundry service - maybe because it is out of season?? Room spacious, but could do with a little mainenaince - wallpaper behind bed stained, bathroom door paint flaking, but nothing terrible. Worth trying if you have car and and want to explore more than just Pisa city.

A kind of old and run-down hotel, which could do with some renovation. Restaurant not very cosy. Not very pram-friendly, so don't go with children. Very friendly and helpful staff. The fairly cheap price matches the old hotel I guess, but not what I would expect from a four star hotel. Sun chairs and umbrella are to be paid seperately, and there is no discount for hotel guests. The rooms have wooden floors which is nice compared to old, dirty carpets.

Generally a great hotel, clean, friendly and spacious well maintained rooms. My only minor complaints were that the pool was not open for the 5 days we were there (for some technical reason) and the 15 euro charge to use the hotel beach was high given that there was no other choice for swimming.

This hotel may have been a 4* hotel when it was opened in the 70/80's, but little has changed since then. Having said that the rooms were still very clean and the balcony overlooking the woods towards the sea was very nice. However, I advise against eating in the hotel, the food is truly awful - and there isn't much choice.

Excellent. Very clean, breakfast was good, location is lovely. Best period is in winter as you can have the best rooms :-) We'll come back!

Nice hotel close to the sea in a quiet area. If you rent a car and want to visit Pisa it is the best place to stay.
