2 miles outside of Alberobello, it makes a very good base to explore this area of Italy. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel in this area.
The hotel staff were excellent - very professional and polite at all times. Not many of them could speak any English (my problem for not having any Italian!) but they were still helpful and attentive. You definately need a car or you would be hotel-bound. A week is long enough to see everything in the area, especially the trulli. A great holiday for my first time in Italy.
A very comfortable room overlooking the countryside, with all the facilities for a pleasent stay.

The hotel was out of town. The facilities were good, except that the swimming pool was unheated.
Large and somewhat impersonal 'international' atmosphere salvaged by terrific service and an excellent restaurant. Prompt needed for Trulli house 'upgrade'. all staff very courteous and helpful - good english spoken too. Pool and adjacent bar wonderful. bit of a way out of town. would use again.

A very lovely - well deserved 4**** hotel.
Generally a very beautiful hotel with lots of paintings on the walls. Staff very polite and willing to help, speaks english, something rare in Puglia. About half of the rooms have no view because they are building a new unit just a few meters opposite the existing one. My room was facing the new unit that was under construction and was therefore very noisy with the window open (when in my room, I felt like being in a town although the hotel is in the country). I advise everyone to ask for a north room at the new unit when it's ready, if he wants country view. Facilities would have got a 5 if LAN had ever worked in my room and if WiFi in the lobby was faster.

Staying in a trullo is fun to do once, even if a bit expensive.
