Getting there:Grand Hotel Melbourne is located right in the middle of Melbourne city, and is easy to locate. We are approximately 30 minutes by car from Melbourne Tullamarine Airport. The journey by taxi costs between $45 and $50. Alternatively, the Skybus Airport Shuttle is only $16 per person each way, takes approximately 1 hour and will drop you off at the hotel. Advance bookings are not required - simply proceed to the Skybus desk at the airport terminal. If travelling by car from the Melbourne Airport take the Tullamarine Freeway, which turns into the Melbourne CityLink. Take the Footscray Road exit, left onto Dudley Street and third right into Spencer Street. The hotel is located at 33 Spencer Street on the corner of Spencer and Flinders streets.

Car parking:It’s our pleasure to offer a professional on-site, undercover, security parking service to you for $35 per night. Drive into our driveway off Spencer Street and leave your car to be attended in care by our professional valet.
Child Policy:Children will be charged an extra $55 per night when sharing room with parents. They will be accommodated on a rollaway bed, and can only be accommodated in a 1 or 2 Bedroom apartment.
This hotel is first class all the way. It is impressive from the first moment that you enter and continues when you walk the wide corridors to your room. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff are outstanding.
Had an absolutely fabulous night's stay at the Grand - very nice suite with king size bed, high ceilings and well fitted out on the 6th floor. The air conditioning did what we wanted it to do and the double glazing ont he windows certainly kept all the city noise out. But it was the bed that was the "piece de resistance" - it was to die for. My partner and I agreed that we had never slept in a more comfortable bed in our lives. It was so comfortable and it seemed to welcome and hold you so that you never wanted to leave!! - yes it was that good. There was a card in the room asking guests to speak with hotel staff if they wanted to know about the signature beds, which we did on check out. We will now be ordering the topper, the pillows and the duvet for our own bed to replicate this delicious experience. Well done - and would recommend the same for anyone.
We had a lovely stay in a very grande hotel. We do not have anything to complain about, our suite was beautiful and clean, the staff were very friendly and happy to help, our breakfasts and service in the dining room was exceptional and the location was fantastic. We will certainly be coming back and recommending this grande hotel to our family and friends. Thank you.

The hotel is in a very good location,friendly staff and the room service and cleanliness is good. The lighting is very poor and hardly a five star hotel. About a 4 star hotel and overpriced.
The service from assistant manager Richard was the best I have received from any hotel in Melbourne. Would come back and stay anytime and will.

The room was very comfortable and reasonably well equipped. However, as the hotel was undergoing renovations, one elevator wasn't working which was inconvenient. Also the supplies such as tea and coffee were very basic. The hotel has a very good location next to the train station with trams stopping right outside the door - an easy walk to restaurants and sporting facilities.
I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay. We spent 3 nights and found all facilities to be very good. I have rated the Pricing as good because room rate was discounted the rack rate is too high bar and restaurant prices are comparable to most Melbourne hotels of this standard. My wife and I both found the king size bed to be extremely comfortable.

The hotel was great, location was perfect for what we wanted to do. The room was just stunning the only thing that i found was the air conditioner not the best. Also i thought the car parking fee was way too dear. Ive stayed at alot of hotels and founds this to be the most expensive by far. I think you pay enough for the rooms parking should be free or alot cheaper. Deals with rooms, parking and late check outs would be a great offer!
A very good hotel, close to transport, shops and restaurants. The apartment was unusual with the bed and bathroom above the lounge and kitchen. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

This really a grand hotel and located exactly where we wanted for the Exhibition Centre. Long corridors and loft apartments outstanding. Bit noisy with the trains so close, but double glazing helps
We had a lovely stay and all the staff are very friendly. The King bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room was nice with the bed up in a loft area seperate from the kitchen/lounge. We thought the pricing of the meals was a bit hefty and ate out as there is so much to choose from nearby. Some of the decor is starting to look a bit tired. Overall a good stay but a little overpriced.

The Grand Hotel was beautiful. The conversion from nineteenth century offices to apartments and hotel was very successful. The staff should be commended for their attention to their clients, and their lack of pretention. I very much enjoyed my stay there.
Very good. allowed me an early check-in which I appreciated. Staff were very nice - all of them. Nice meal also in the restaurant downstairs.
