Completely rebuilt in 1984, the Grand Hotel Royal, is a classically designed hotel, furnished with comfortable sofas, antique chairs and carpets, finely decorated inlaid wood works furniture, marbled staircases, spectacular crystal chandeliers, and deluxe decors.
Guest Rooms and Suites, renovated in 2003, offer a spectacular view of the Gulf of Naples and Vesuvius, or the wonderful secular park.
For the relax of its Guests, the Grand Hotel Royal boasts a private swimming pool, provided with hydro-massage area, and panoramic sea view terrace. As an alternative, it is possible to reach the private beach, with a direct lift located in the secular park.
In the afternoon, Guests can relax at the “ Caprice “ Bar for a tea, or to sip an aperitif, on the terraces, overlooking the sea, enjoying live piano bar music.
The Restaurant, “ Le Relais “, characterized by an elegant and fine ambiance, proposes a variety of local and international dishes, perfectly prepared by our experienced and talented Chefs. Breakfast, instead, is served in the Glicini Restaurant Room, close to the main Restaurant, immersed in the green of the secular park, and particularly suitable for the organization of wedding receptions, and business lunches. |

To get to Sorrento, to the Grand Hotel Royal we suggest the following solutions:
By Aircraft: Capodichino Airport of Naples is the closest one to Neapolitan Riviera.By Car: Follow the signs Sorrento peninsula ( penisola sorrentina) on the motorway A1 Rome-Naples which will take you at the motorway A3 Salerno-ReggioCalabria. Leave the motorway at the exit Castellammare Di Stabia and follow the signs Penisola Sorrentina on the coast road 145 from Castellamare di Stabia to Sorrento. Once you get to Sorrento follow the signs to our Hotels. By Train: The central station of Naples is connected to Sorrento by the local train line Circumvesuviana. The terminal station is located right in the centre of Sorrento just few minutes walking to the Grand Hotel Royal. The journey lasts about 1 hour. By Hydrofoil: From the harbour of Naples Molo Beverello there are hydrofoils to Sorrento almost every hour. |
