Grand Liza Hotel Istanbul

"Well, I got room with pretty all right view on 3rd floor. A bit tight bathroom, but hairdryer was good bonus. TV also had English channel with movies. Wifi was sometimes not working, and in my room the reception was bad so I had to sit in the hallway. Breakfast was very basic: bread, jam, olives, bread, strange sausage and tea (the juice had a bit rotten taste), but the view from BF room was fantastic! So, I did not mind to have later a meal on the street. Also next to the Fish restaurant district, just some steps away. However, to get the tram, one has to walk about 10 minutes up the hill..." - Anonymous

"hotel is fantastic , located beside a lot of historical places , my only comment that it`s located down a very inclined road , so if you planning to take your tour walking or by public transportation you have to climb that exhausting road daily to reach public stations & Touristic areas " - khaled hassan

"Clean, well kept rooms. Breakfast overlooking the Marmara Sea was spectacular. Service by the staff was very good. Plenty of restaurants, shops, stores close by. Walking distance to the Tramway in Beyazit square to get linked in to the Istanbul mass transit system. Easy access for Taxi's to the Hotel from the seaside road "Sahil Yolu" which avoids most of the Istanbul traffic. Only one negative. They have a 24 hour X rated TV channel which does not seem to fit with the image of the Hotel (I didn't get why they had it). I would recommend this hotel. " - Serdar Ergene
