Getting there:By train, Spencer Street station is located within Docklands. By tram, the City Circle Tram provides free and convenient transport to Harbour Esplanade at NewQuay. By road, from the City take La Trobe or Collins Street extension westward over Spencer Street, turn right into Harbour Esplanade, left into Docklands Drive, left into Aquitania Way and left again into Marmion Place. From the north and west, follow Footscray Road east until it becomes Harbour Esplanade or come over the Westgate Bridge and take the Montague Street/Footscray Road exit, turning left onto Wurundjeri Way, then left into Aquitania Way. From the south and east get onto the Westgate Freeway and take the Montague Street/Footscray Road exit then turn right onto Wurundjeri Way, then left into Aquitania Way. From Melbourne Airport, follow the Tullamarine freeway, then take the Footscray Road exit and turn right into Docklands Drive, then left into Aquitania Way.
Check-in Procedure:A VALID CREDIT CARD (NOT DEBIT CARD) AND PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED AT CHECK IN. A PRE-AUTHORISATION TRANSACTION WILL BE PROCESSED TO THE CREDIT CARD IN AN AMOUNT UP TO $500 AND WILL BE HELD AS A BOND. THE AUTHORISED SIGNATORY FOR THE CREDIT CARD MUST BE A REGISTERED GUEST AND BE PRESENT AT CHECK IN. GUESTS WHO ARE UNABLE TO MEET THE CHECK IN REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE GRANTED ACCESS TO OUR APARTMENTS.
Car parking:Car parking is charged at $15.00 per night and 1 allocated car space per apartment booked. Additional Car parks are available in the public car park on Docklands Drive ($15.00 per night).
Child Policy:Studio Apartment rates are for a maximum of 2 people. One Bedroom Apartment rates are for a maximum of 2 people, an additional AU$49.00 is payable for a third person occupying a rollaway bed. Two Bedroom Apartment rates are for a maximum of 4 people, an additional AU$49.00 is payable for a fifth person occupying a rollaway bed. Three Bedroom Apartment rates are for a maximum of 6 people, an additional AU$49.00 is payable for a seventh person occupying a rollaway bed.

Slight hassle with collecting and dropping off the key, but the quality and cleanliness of the room were without fault.
Grand Mercure operate 5 towers in Docklands which is not disclosed in any online material. Pictures on the website are not accurate as they are 5 different towers. Great price from Hotel Club. Very small 2 bed 2 bathroom apartment with average Harbour views. Stated heated pool was only slightly heated for the Melbourne weather. Stayed in the Nolan tower. Reviews need to be read when deceiding on a stay with this organisation. Had a great time in Melbourne. Clean apartment with one service in the 10 days I was there.

we stayed in a 2 bedroom.2 bathroom,harbour view apartment which was totally awesome.lots of room and tastefully decorated.reception away from the actually building which was quite strange,but no problem.a great part of the city.will definitely go back.
Being termed a 'serviced appartment' we assumed that it would be serviced on a daily basis. However it was not serviced at all during the five days that we stayed. Further, although we were expected to wash the towels that were supplied by the hotel, we were not supplied with any form of washing powder or liquid to facilitate this. My '0' rating for service relates only to the above matters. We did find the attention that we received from hotel employees elsewhere within the building as 'Good'. The appartment was, however, in very good condition with beautiful views.
The facility is difficult to get into but once you figure that out all is ok.
This is the best stay we have in a three bedrooms harbour view apartment. Previous stays were okay in a two bedrooms harbour view. All three of us are happy to stay here and we will return without hesitation provided we have the finance to cover the bill.

Fantastic apartment, great place to stay in Docklands, and with free tram makes it easy to travel around CBD.
Excellent Location - across the road from Etihad Stadium. Worst aspect were the transparent blinds in the bedrooms, making getting to sleep impossible for 2 of the 4 guests.
The apartment was good,but only downfall was to close to main road.
Great accommodation ... the best you can find in the heart of Melbourne. The property is very close to the CBD and a perfect place to be when all you need is to relax and indulge. Highly recommended!!!
stunning views and the apartments were very comfortable and quite..... I have booked about 6 different apartments, our guests who stayed there as well were extremely happy too.
the hotel apartment is clean and modern. Only downside is the 2 Bedroom we had, the actual bedrooms back on to each other and the walls are thin in the room. Otherwise I would recommned
Overall was a great stay (for two nights). Staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was excellent. We booked a one bedroom apartment and were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Generally it was clean however the bathroom floor still had some hair from the previous guests that needed to be swept and some of the dishes in the cupboards had not been washed properly. These issues were not a major inconvenience and we could easily fix them. I would recommend these apartments.
