Hotel description:    The secluded hideaway of Grand Mercure Puka Park Resort is located at Pauanui Beach, just 2 hours drive from Auckland, Tauranga and Hamilton. The idyllic resort is hidden away of Mount Pauanui, amid 25 acres of lush native bush. The 42 spacious chalets are scattered throughout the resort, each harmonising perfectly with the environment. The newly refurbished chalets all offer a king bed, large ensuite and private deck. Miha Restaurant is renowned for its superb dining and stunning views, plus the adjacent intimate guest lounge and bar, offers the perfect environment to relax after a busy day exploring. Additional facilities at the resort include swimming pool, sauna, gymnasium, tennis and Nature’s Touch Spa. Three conference spaces are available, all offering natural light, and catering for up to 120 guests. Team building, golf, fishing and diving are all nearby, plus it is only a ten minute stroll to beautiful Pauanui Beach.

Getting there: Pauanui is located on the East coast of the Coromandel Peninsula and within 2 hours drive from Auckland, Tauranga and Hamilton.

Upon arrival in Pauanui, turn sharp right at the second roundabout onto Pauanui Beach Road. Continue along and turn right into Mount Avenue. Follow the road up the hill to the left of the roundabout and continue straight ahead to the resort entrance. There are also directional sign posts throughout Pauanui.
Check-in Procedure: Please drive to the hotel lobby and proceed to check in. After which you may park your car in the car park and a porter can assist with a golf buggy to transport you and your luggage to your chalet.
Car parking: On Site carparking available free of charge.
Child Policy: One additional guest may be accommodated in the chalets on a rollaway bed. The charge for an extra person is NZ$65.00 which is payable direct to the hotel. Cots are available free of charge.
