"Good base to attend the F1 Singapore GP: bus 36 uses the freeway. It only takes 15 mins to reach the city centre. A cab ride costs S$10.
Great location: a couple of blocks away from the East Coast Park and the beach.
Across the road is the Parkway Parade mall: an excellent alternative to the hotel breakfast which is a bit of a rip off at S$20 pp.
The outdoor swimming pool gets the sun from early morning until 3pm and the water reaches perfect temperature. Sunbeds and towels are provided too.
There is a small toddler pool too. The Roxy Bar is located by the pool.
The rooms were big and comfortable. The bathroom a bit small. The towels provided are a bit thin and old.
The service was impeccable and the staff were very courteous at all times.
This hotel should also be considered for stop overs. A free shuttle is provided by the hotel. The journey only last for 15 minutes.
Internet is provided for free by the reception. We paid S$75 for a 7 day WIFI access" - Damien Marquez

"Like all very large hotels this was impersonal. We had evening meal at the pool bar with this very satisfactory though expensive. Watch menu and drinks prices at they do not include GST or service charges - the latter with GST also added - which can make for high cost.
Stated to be 10-minutes from the airport may be about right but the taxi would need to do 100kph through the 90kph roads to make it in that time.
I didn't venture into any public area other than the pool bar. A regular guest advised that there are good restaurants across the road at less cost.
Taxi was $15 airport/hotel and $25 on the reverse. Couldn't make that out.
Room on 17th floor was good.
Would probably stay elsewhere in future due to meals/drinks cost as $71 for 1 x burger, 1 x starter and 3 x drinks was on the nose. Service was tops at the pool bar and so it should be at the meals price. There must be somewhere where 1 x pint Guiness is less than $12 plus GST + service charge." - KEN TREHEARNE
"The Roxy held my bags for a week at no charge, which was great since I didn't have to carry my extra luggage to my stop-over in Indonesia. The location isn't fantastic if you want to see the sights, since it isn't near an MRT, but is very convenient for going to/from the airport. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is near a big shopping mall and outdoor food vendors. There is a free airport shuttle, but it only runs from 7am-2am, which doesn't work for early morning flights.
