"people at the hotel were very nice. They just dont speak english well. too long for d checkout bout 30min." - Anonymous
"The facilities at the hotel were very impressive and the hotel had a lot of ammenities. However, staff couldn't speak much english and were not often very helpful with tourist information. Service could have been better. Pricing for the rooms through rates to go was good, however direct pricing was extremely expensive and everything at the hotel was extremely expensive (i.e. spa, massage, billards, and any other ammenties that were offered). So, as a result we didn't use any of the additional facilities. The restaurant was extremely expensive as well and tried to overcharge where ever possible. Hotel didn't offer any discounts to guests who stayed there and used the restaurant facilities. There was even a service charge of 15%, which we had to fight to get waived." - Anonymous
"Clean and nice hotel. Location was a bit outside the tourist area. The beds were hard in Asian style. " - Anonymous
"As a family of 3, we enjoyed staying at the Grand Metro Park Hotel in Beijing, the rooms were very well equipped and quite large even when an extra bed was added. The Grand Metro Park is within walking distance of the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Sq and Temple of Heaven. There are many Hotpot and BBQ restaurants within a few minutes walking from the Hotel.
I would stay at this Hotel the next time I visit Beijing." - Glenn Stedman
