"This resort is right on the beach. Very friendly and attentive staff. Excellent facilities for eating, including italian Restaurant, Beach Cafe and Indoor Cafe-Restaurant. There were "theme" nights of different wolrd cuisines diring our stay. Well priced food, but wine, which is local, is rather ropey. The Indonesian Government has slapped huge duties on imported wines and they're really out of reach unless you want to pay silly prices. Take in you full quota of wine from duty free - it ain't much, but it'll save quite a bit of money. And make sure you pay the little bit extra dn book a sea view roon with balcony. "We stayed over xmas, 2008. The buffet breakfast was quite good, they managed to vary it over the week we were there. The beach was kept clean as were all the grounds. Our children, aged 7 and 9, enjoyed the pools, beach and playground to the point where we did not use the kids club. The ocean was pleasant to swim in. We ate lunch at the Jukung restaurant which was on the beach, great food and service. For evenings we walked down the street, many restaurants to choose from. Great for families. The only thing we disliked was all the noise from the water sports." - Anonymous
