Getting there:Sitting on the corner of Coleman Street and Hill Street, Grand Park City Hall is approximately 25 minutes taxi ride away from the Singapore Changi International Airport. Using the Mass Rapid Transport (MRT) from the airport, taking the East-West line, is approximately 40 minutes to arrive at City Hall MRT Station. From the Malayan Railway Station, it takes approximately 20 minutes to reach the hotel by taxi. For those travelling by car from Malaysia, using the 2nd Link Causeway, travelling via Ayer Rajah Expressway city-bound, exit at Merchant Road, turn left to Hill Street, will take approximately 45 minutes.

We (3 adult males) in separte rooms to view Singapore 7's competition. Hotel ideally located to Singapore Cricket Club and Clark Quay etc. Staff were exceptional even at busy time. Would definitely stay again.
Very central, very quiet and clean. Great concierge staff, most helpful.
The room looked a little aged, the carpet and the upholstery of the easy chair was stained and made them look dirty. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast in the main dining area was rather disappointing - many dishes were not replenished for a long time, and the toaster wasn't even turned on ( I asked the waiter but he didn't know how to!) We had a nicer continental breakfast the day before in the "Deli", but they do not open till 7.30 am which didn't suit my partner who had to go to work early. The spa at the hotel is absolutely gorgeous, and offered good deals for relaxing treatments by a group of very nice staff.
We received a complimentary upgrade to a Club Room which was very comfortable. The gym is good, however, some equipment (cardio) are a little old. Pool is small but well laid out with nice garden and some shade areas as well. Good location, close to cheap eating, shopping and MRT stations. Staff are helpful and friendly. Some decore showing its age but generally a good value property.
Not bad been here before approx 10 years ago, rooms a bit tired, smelt dank, moisture, don't notice it after a while, facilities are pretty good, breakfast are dear, room service meals work out better, if you don't need full buffet breakfast. location is very good, and free shuttle to some locations approx $18 from airport.

Great hotel and great location. Bfast is excellent and restaurant is excellent. Within walking distance to everything on Marina. Very close walking distance to MRT from airport. Price can very considerably with season and events in Singapore. Most times price is very competitive.
picking grand park city hall hotel is one of those serendipitous decisions one makes visiting Singapore. other than room internet charges, the service, location, pricing and cleanliness of grand park is just impeccable. 5 mins to city hall mrt, 15m to victoria food center, 20m walk to esplanade.
I had a pleasant stay at Grand Park City Hall Hotel. Given the location, it should have been 5* review, but no free Internet was really a draw back and it could have been the deal breaker
Excellent location and amenities. Rooms quiet and staff helpful although one had to be persistent to get the whole story, ie eating in the hotel and location of entertainment. (The hotel food is excellent and plentiful though it is comparatively expensive) Would recommend to any visitor to Singapore
The first impression of this hotel is disconcerting, the ineffiency of the reception desk, and the ineptitude of the staff, is remeniscent of a Monty Python episode. However,once past this hurdle ,the hotel rates very well, the rooms are very nice, and I would say there again.
good location for the price, but the only thing was hotel didnot provide sufficient toiletries... eg 1 toothbrush for 2 peoples
Excellent friendly and efficient service from all staff. Good value & variety of food available, generous happy hours! Relaxed amosphere in the hotel and attractive furnishings. Pool and spa very pleasant & well maintained. I would definitely stay there again.
This was our first stay at Grand Park City Hall. It was very close to MRT. Clarke Quay was an easy five minute walk. Around the hotel there are plenty of places to eat out. The buffet breakfast was good, but we found that breakfast in "The Deli" at the hotel was a cheaper option, if you did not want a full buffet breakfast. The concierges were terrific and the hotel staff friendly. The room was comfortable, except that the shower was over a very deep bath, which mature husband had difficulty getting in and out of. We would most definitely use this hotel again.
Ideally situated in City Hall precinct. Hotel is small which is an advantage as there are no crowds for any of the services. I have stayed here many times and keep coming back.
On arrival we were offered the S$70 per day special for our 6 day 2 person stay (breakfast, internet & laundry) as regular visitors to Singapore we said No. There are plenty of eateries & internet access within a 3 to 5 minute walk where breakfast prices start at S$3.00. No open windows in room everything airconditioned this means your socks/jocks wont dry. Pool area is excellent for chilling out. Very handy to Clarks Quay for nightlife, MRT, hop on off bus. Would stay again.
Found the staff incredibly helpful, particularly when we had a mishap with the luggage from the airport (our mistake not theirs) they went out of their way to assist us, location great for both business and the sites due to its central position, will stay again
I stayed 3 nites in April 09 & enjoyed my stay there. The location is perfect for transport as City Hall MRT train station is literally across the road, about 5 min walk. There are no shortage of eateries around the vicinity too. Staff were helpful, and allows for late check out with minimum fuss.
What a magnificent, well price, great location rooms are great (bathrooms just a little small) I am a repeat customer and will be back again. 5 mins walk to Clarke Quay, Boat Quay and just about everything else you need in central Singapore
