Grand Park Orchard Singapore Hotel

The first entrance lobby immediately greeted with a friendly smile from the concierge, the hotel lobby on the 4th floor. Although there not many room in this hotel, but everything is very clean and comfortable with a new and unique design. The room have a graceful picture woman on the wall. overall this hotel is highly recommended.

The staff made us very welcomed, the room amenities met our expectations and made our stay very comfortable. Loved that I could step out and be hitting the shops immediately.

Great location (smack bang in the middle of orchard road), service was friendly and very efficient. It's a newish hotel so the rooms were fantastic - in terms of decor, furnishings and wall finishes etc. Rooms were clean too. Gym was good and concierge were helpful. I would definitely go back there again to stay. The only issue I have is with the price but it seems to be on par with other hotels in Singapore. Overall, a good central hotel to base yourself while in Singapore.

Good location, decent enough gym. Had to change my 1st room because it wasn't clean enough. Lots of hair all over the bathroom. 2nd room wasn't as bad but still wasn't great. If they cleaned the hotel properly, this would be a decent hotel.

this hotel really really needs a complete renovation(especially the room)asap. Good location won't help with such an old and smelly hotel room.

Can the rooms be refurbished with better look and newer plasma / lcd TV's etc. Overall stay is good and location is excellent for people who like to stay on Orchard Road which is always buzzling with various activities, shoppings malls etc. I will again stay back especially due to the location as everything is just minutes walk from the hotel which makes stay more comfotable.

The relatively high room rate is a reflection of the excellent location. The room was just average: kept clean and with basic amenities but looked ready for renovation.

Location of hotel is great. Hotel itself is clean, but rather old and tired looking, and pricy for its standard. Don't expect any frills. If in Singapore for a short 1 or 2 nights' shopping trip, hotel is highly recommended as it is right in the middle of Orchard Road. Not recommended for long stays, romantic getaways and fussy travellers. The nearest train is a 10-15 min walk away, and in hot and humid weather, it's a rather long walk.

I had a very pleasant but short stay. The staff took the time to remember me and I liked that. I'm afraid that I did not pay attention to look out for the 'Thank You' card so I have to say my answer below may not be accurate.

The location is good at the center of orchard. For guest that needs to visit Mount Elizabeth Hospital, better to choose this hotel as the location is very near and the rate is ok...

If it wasn't for the location&convenience, it's not worth it to stay there. It also not worthy to be called 4star hotel. The airconditioning knob was broken, black stains on the mirror, the buttons on the little machine for room lights etc. on the side table has to be pressed many times before it worked, the piece of wood that's supposed to be attached on the side table keep falling off, we also found some papers underneath the bed from the previous guest that was staying there.

The location was excellent for shopping. The Tv need more channels with a bigger screen. Everything else was excellent.

Great location on the main strip of orchard Road. Pricing excessively high for the quality/size of the room; even after the airshow.

hotel room and facilities are all average, slightly average is service. room service is bad and long. the receptionist however is fantastic, i have even allowed to checked in before 11 am! the lounge is good where you can enjoy yourself after long day. swimming pool and gym is good but difficult to reach and never allow your children to go by themself they might get lost! the japanese rest downstair is highly recommended with pleasant service and good food, a bit pricy though.

Location, location, location! Smack in the middle of Orchard Rd. Shop until you drop! :) If you're in Singapore for a short holiday and not too fussy about the hotel interior, I'd say choose this one! Got a good deal with [your website], and I'm not dissapointed. Hotel is VERY OLD, so you can imagine. Room itself is clean, service is good. I have no complaints! Visit this hotel before they take it down in 2009 and build a new one. Rooms will be very pricey then!

A hotel promoted with far more stars than it actually earns... it started badly with an interminably slow check-in process after which I was sent to a twin room. I don't enjoy sleeping in single beds and had booked a double as my confirmation voucher clearly showed. I also pointed out the voucher stated "upper floor". So I was given a new room - on the top floor - with a double bed. The room had not been renovated and was extremely tired. The do not disturb light did not work. The bad service continued with a knock on the door at 5 to 10 wondering if I had checked out... The bar was good (independently managed by warm staff), and there's a Starbucks and Svensens on the ground floor. And the location is great - right in the heart of Orchard Rd. Business travelers beware: the internet service involves a connection where I could detect and apparently log into other computers connected to the hotel network via the wifi network... also: no conversion plugs...

Perfect location. If you are staying in Singapore and you are planning to do some shopping and dining and pay a reasonable room rate, this is a great hotel for all the above.

highly recommended for convenience and location. spacious and brightly lit room, friendly staff. good value for money. only problem was the toilet flush wasnt working well.
