Very good hotel.Nice swimming pool and gym.the stedet out side is dirty.but safe.
I always stay here when in Bangkok. It's a little tired round the edges, but it's comfortable, the staff is marvelous and the facilities and location are excellent.
Good value for money and popularity seem to be replacing efficient service in this hotel.
this hotel was good, very big, had very nice pool, and gym near to the pool, the room was fine, tv was very bad for european people, the breakfast fast very good,it was in a quiet are,but it was very much trafic to go to other places, bangkok is hard to get around because of the trafic.
I arrived early evening to find that the standard room I'd booked wasn't ready. I was asked to wait an hour, which I wasn't prepared to do, having just arrived from a 12 hour flight from Europe. After some discussion, I was 'upgraded' to the next level or room in the wing across the main road from the main hotel wings. The room was tiny, 'tired' and disappointing - I dread to thjink what size a standard room is. The wing was full of Middle Eastern families whose kids ran uncontrolled up and down the corridors until the early hours. In all, a disappointing experience. I am unlikely to return, since there are so many really good hotels in the same area.
Good location near Nana skytrain station, nice pools, good but crowded breakfast, slow reception procedures.
I always stay here when I come to BKK. The rooms are a little shabby and run-down, but the staff are nice, the facilities are good and everything is very clean. However, they are always difficult about the internet connection, which on [this website] is promised as 'Unlimited hi–speed Internet Access (optional)' It's their option, not yours. They always end up making you pay for it, even in the top rooms.
After a horrendous check in experience, I couldn't find much to like about this hotel. For this price, there are many better options.
We stay here often when we visit Bangkok. The rooms are a little shabby and worn, but it's a nice comfortable place with very friendly and accommodating staff.
We're stayed at the Grand President four times now. The furniture and decor is pretty run down and in need of maintenance, but the facilities are great, the staff is excellent, the location is perfect and the pricing is great.
I booked on a package and appreciate the use of the business centre, the airport transfer (except it would have been good if the driver could have spoke a little more English) and the daily newspaper. I liked the marble flooring in the room, just because it gave a sense of cleanliness. The room facilities were good, but I could not get my laptop to communicate with the server for internet access. The breakfasts were always good as were smorgasbord lunches and I ate once in the evening there which I also enjoyed. I would happily book there again.
I was in Tower 3 and barely got any light in the room, was always dark even though it was sunny all day long. Two single beds put together which moved easily. Location is great on Suk 11, bathroom was acceptable, and reception service was good. Near the door so you can hear hallway noise easily. Will stay at another hotel for the same rate next time I come back.
Nice, comfortable hotel, right in the heart of Sukhumvit. Great breakfasts and good service. Tends to get very busy so book well-ahead.
I was put in an annex building across the road that was being converted so very dusty. noisy staff outside door as well. however, buffet breakfast was excellent.
The Grand President is a wonderful place to stay, I have no negative comments what-so-ever. I stay here at least 2-3 times per year for the last two. I highly recommend this Serviced Apartments as well as the hotel division.
Nice breakfast in a newly-furbished cafe is well worth the price, and the personnel are always helpful and polite.
A very nice hotel in a good location.
Great hotel lobby, great breakfast but stayed in Tower 3 and the rooms were a bit dated. Very close to BTS Nana Station and lots of restuarants and shops. Will stay there again.
We were put in Tower 3 the older of the complex. Room and bathroom were small, i had requested a king bed, and got 2 single beds pushed together that spread apart during the night.I believe that the price was high for this room. Reception and car service where good.Close to transport (train) and shopping. Suggest that rooms be better displayed so as to be able to pick the more comfortable room. Photo was misleading on site.
IWas satisfied with our stay and consider the accomodation very good value for money
