"We did the Treat the Family option, which was a room for four with buffet breakfast included(very good).
As a downside though, there were only two bath towels for four of us and one pillow each, with just one spare in the cupboard, so not exactly a "treat".
The hot pools were great." - Anonymous
"The hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful. We had two family rooms which were well equipped and comfortable.
We shall return to Roturua in the near future and would stay in the Grand Tiara again if available. We would certainly recommend it to friends and family.
Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

"The main complaint about this hotel was that the room was not air conditioned and as a consequence was extremly hot & stuffy. There was a ceiling fan in the room but it was inadequate for summer temperatures. I realised when I booked that there was no airconditioning in the room however the advertisement lead you to believe that the room had a balcony with doors opening onto it so I thought that we would be able to open this to let in some fresh air. This was not the case and the room had 4 very tiny windows which would not let in much air and no balcony. As a consequence we were unable to spend any time in the room other than was necessary because of the heat & stuffiness. We also had a very noisy fan outside our room which was rather irritating." - Anonymous
