The staff at this hotel was the best! We feel very much at home. This was our 6th trip to Europe, and the second to Rome. The hotel was the best we have every strayed in Europe......You can get to the center of Rome by rail just yards from the hotel lobby......We can only say, the manager of this hotel does a great job!!! If we return to Rome we would stay at the Grand Tiberio Hotel.....
We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for quite a while in November 09. If you want a good, modern hotel near the Vatican this is the place. Good beds, nice rooms, free wifi, excellent restaurant and a free return shuttle to Rome CBD and the Vatican - just make sure you book in advance for the shuttle bus. It's popular.
I enjoyed my stay here. It was a relatively short walk to the Vatican and access to rail / metro was literally around the corner. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided excellent service. I'd stay again.
too far out of rome centre for me, having to get 2 trains to get there, i wouldn;t stay there again.
More creative breakfast in terms of hot buffet, cheese and ham would improve the hotel rating. Otherwise, I was satisfied.
Reception staff very good and helpful. Room fine except water in wash basin very slow to drain and although reported was not fixed. otherwise fine.
Arriving in Rome from Ciampino airport to this hotel isn't easy without prior knowledge of public transport. The hotel, though, clean doesn't deserve a 4 star rating in my opinion as the room was small, dark and there was a chipped glass in the bathroom. Also the room wasn't cleaned completely the following day. All staff were friendly though when trying to get advice on our departure there was one male receptionist who seemed more interested in the way he looked than helping. We would return, however, if the rates were as low.
Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Its about a 20 min walk to Vatican and 45 mins to piazza navona (15 euro in a taxi). the hotel has a shuttle bus service that leaves in the mornings and collects you in the evening at 6. Food in the hotel is ok maybe a bit overpriced for what you are getting. the bar and restaraunt dont take cash you can only pay when checking out which i did not like. I would deff recomend staying there and if i go back then thats where i'll be staying
There's some very noisy plumbing!
The hotel was out in the suburbs but in an ideal location for visiting the Vatican, which often has long queues even in the morning. It is one bus ride to the Vatican. It was clean and the staff were friendly. Overall a good hotel for Rome.
Lovely hotel. Staff and facilities superb. City 15 to 20 mins walk. Take good walking shoes. Don't use the bus or metro, because you will miss so much!
Excellent service, great facilities, really friendly people. Absolutely nothing to complain about. There were always space to park the car in the street right outside the hotel, but it would have been great to be allowed to park in the huge empty hotel car park (not justified 15 euro per day for a 4-star hotel). Definitely a place to recommend.
Easy journey by bus into all the sites (an easy walk to the Vatican) The Hotel is in a good residential area. Very good in all respects.
We arrived at this Hotel as the last night of an organised tour and stayed one extra night until we were able to catch a flight from Rome airport. The Hotel was very comfortable, room was a good size, nice bathroom. The Hotel provides a reasonable airport transfer that worked very well. It is located in the suburbs of Rome and near a station, so not at all isolated. I found the Hotel quite expensive but breakfast was provided and very good service all round
The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The lobby was spacious and attractive. There is a bus nearby but we mostly walked to the Vatican. I would DEFINITELY go there again. Joan Clarke, Ashbourne, IRELAND
Pleasant design hotel, nice restaurant - good breakfast.
Excellent location and superb facilities. Staff are very friendly, courteous and helpful. Nothing is to much trouble. A very pleasant stay.
The staff provided excellent service. When one of my suitcases was temporarily lost by the airlines, the staff went out of their way to find it. The staff and the facility are professional in every aspect.
Grand Tiberio Hotel is one of the best hotels we have ever visited. The service and all the facilities offered by the hotel were excellent. The staff was very helpful and pleasant.
Nice Hotel and well located. Helpful staff
