Grande Ville Hotel Bangkok

Old hotel. Breakfast not nice. However, it quite near to chinatown shopping area but to the restaurant places is a bit far to walk.

equal to a 3 star Aussie accom. very basic, no tea/coffee in room great location close to River [fast easy way into downtown/ miss the traffic using boat/train ] walking distance to Temples- Grand Palace Emerald Budda- Flower Markets - Chinatown - other Temples. Staff are so wonderful, cannot do enough for you. 1 min to Little India. good shopping. Rooftop Restrurant AMAZING view at night. good breakfast included- other menu not to bad for lunch/dinner

some how the ceilings were covered in dust and the previous inhabitants had drawn designs in it. It was a little strange.

Pleasant staff. Have to pay for all extras like (very modest) swimming pool on roof terrace and internet. Stayed both in ordinary double room and superior room. No visible difference and identical breakfast. Both rooms OK but the bathrooms strongly need upgrading. Outdoor restaurant on top floor with magnificent view. Fine location in China town and within walking distance from a.o. Grand Palace.

Very good location for shopping at Sampang Lane & short walk for visiting Grand Palace. If the usage of gym & jacuzzi pool is FOC then it will be perfect.

Great location, polite and responsive service. We got a top floor (23) with a great view of the city.

Unfortunately, they don't have (wifi) internet connection. Also the key is still old fashion, you have to give them back the key with a huge keychain whenever going out. Request the key again whenever you want to go back into the room. Waist of time.

Good breakfast. 25-30 min walking to Grand Palace. Need to take taxi/tuk tuk to any other destination. Overall good.

We stayed in this hotel 2 nights. The hotel is located in proximity to the main tourist attractions such as Grand Palace and Wat Po. However, there are not too many bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Also, it is far from the metro lines. Hotel staff was nice and friendly. The room was OK but nothing really special. The hotel has a pool and a restaurant but we did not have a chance to use either of them.

Great location - we were able to walk to all the sights we were interested in seeing. The breakfast that was included was all we needed - all we could eat either/or American or Asian. Great value, friendly staff, tours available at reception desk, and nice roof top patio to enjoy the evening looking out over Bangkok with food and beverages.

I stayed in the Grande Ville as it was the meeting place for a tour I was taking starting in Bangkok. The hotel is quite nice for it's rating and pricing. The facilities are all clean and nice and the value good for the money. The hotel is located near Chinatown and a quick tuk tuk away from many other landmarks. As well, the staff are friendly and willing to help with whatever requests you have (they stored a bag for me, helped me find boxes to ship, and helped find local info). I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Extremely helpful staff, good room with excellent view, great roof terrace with fantastic night-time views of Grand Palace and Golden Mount.

First impression from outside should not put you off. Rooftop bar gave fantastic view of City

For what I paid, this was the best deal in BKK. The front office was very very nice. They arranged all my trips, cars, sight visits. It was really good. I did not like the BRK but who cares. The service was 5star quality. I even bought all front desk people gifts because I was very happy. They are truly a very friendly office staff. The rest was OK. Good location to visit all of BKK.
