Getting there:By train: from Pisa local train to San Giuliano Terme (line Pisa-Lucca). By bus: Lazzi: from Pisa or Lucca to San Giuliano Terme. By plane: Aereoporto internazionale Galileo Galilei Pisa Aereoporto di Firenze By car: Highway A11 Firenze- Mare direction Pisa: exit "Lucca" get the SS12 direction Pisa and pass through the gallery called "Il Foro" (it separates Lucca from Pisa); at the end of the gallery, at the feet of the hills, after the petrol station "Shell" there is a main crossroad; turn right and immediately left to enter into the parking of Hotel Granduca. Distance from Lucca exit: 8 Km. Highway A12 Genova-Livorno: exit "Pisa Nord" get SS1 Aurelia south direction (towards Pisa); at the first traffic-lights turn left and follow the indications to Hotel Granduca or San Giuliano Terme. After 10 Km., on the right side in San Giuliano Terme, there is Hotel Granduca.

Wery well presented plenty room for parking free of charge day and night air coditioner and drinks in the fridge. I also enjoyed playing the inhouse piano for a while. Will revisit
The hotel is not in pisa itself, however the small village of San Giuliano is very nice. The free parking is great if you have a car and the leaning tower of Pisa is only 5 minutes or so away by car.

The hotel is old and you fill it everywhere. It is clean but old. It is located at the suburbs of Pisa, so you need a car. On the other hand Parking is free. It has nothing you will expect from a 4 star hotel nowadays. Breakfast was OK.
The splendid reception area and light spacious corridors don't prepare you for what is a drap hotel room - room facilities are just functional and need updating - but overall for the price a very good hotel. The village across the road has a good pizzeria that serves excellent food at a reasonable price as well as a bar and icecream parlour
A very good hotel, staff were friendly and the room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was supplied and this was excellent. Our only issue was the location, was a little far out from the sights that we wanted to see, however was accessible by train, otherwise we could not fault it. Recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay.
Great and quiet location very near pisa. Highly recommended for those who desire to be off the beaten path, or flying out of pisa.
A good location if you do not wnt Pisa on your doorstep and ideally situated exactly halfway between Pisa and Lucca (well worth a visit). Can be busy as very popular with coach tours. Not sure it would make my ideal long holiday stay as quite basic, but ideal for my weekend break. Good staff.
