Grange City Hotel London

"all staff exceptionally helpful, room very comfortable, location great close to underground, highly recommend this hotel, didn't use restaurants as already had meals booked with family friends, the one appeared to have a good selection at very reasonable prices especially for London and the star rating of the hotel. All major attractions can be accessed from this hotel either by the tour buses or underground, taxi's readily available and congirge can book car for private tours at extremely reasonable rates, they also supplied us with drinks and sandwich platter again exceptional value for money, If I get the chance to visit London again I would definately stay here again, they helped to make my long weekend very memorable. "the hotel is not in the best location (although the tube is very close) it takes about 30 minutes on the tube to get to anywhere central. For a 5 star hotel it lacks certain features in the room such as wi fi, the tv channels are poor and the room cleaning is at irregular times (they also disregard their own instruction to place towels on the rail if you don't want them replaced - and replace them anyway!) the bathroom, although clean had poorly fitted tiles and the grouting was discoloured, something I would not expect of a hotel room at this level.
