"The room was miniscule, no bigger than a broom closet. I arrived friday evening, and was met by a very unfriendly receptionist. Asked to see the room before paying, but that was not possible. After I saw the room I requested an upgrade (was of course ready to pay for it), but that was not possible. The room was OK clean, a terrible smell came every time the room next door used their shower and/or sink. The toilet was not in the room, but was shared in the hall. And the toilet was very very dirty. It was impossible to open the suitcase anywhere but on the bed. I am never staying at that hotel again. I knew it wouldnt be a middleclass hotel, but didnt expect such a substandard accomodation." - Anonymous
"We were not informed that we would be staying in a building site, with three heavy bags to carry up 5 flights of stairs with bags of plaster and glass learned up the walls,
I didn't realise continent breakfast was cereals and toast " - Anonymous
"Unless you are happy with only the very basics at a very low price, this hotel is not for you. Also, if you are big or have difficulties with stairs, don't stay here. It was cheap and relatively close to Victoria, but that ended the advantages of staying here. " - Craig A. Bailey
"In London all hotel rooms are small. This was no exception. There was about half a metre at the end of the bed and beside it, but there was a small ensuite. Breakfast was fantastic - cereal and toast (with seconds). The staff were very friendly and offered to help with my HEAVY bag (30kg) upstairs. Gave good directions to Post Office etc. Single young female travelling alone." - Anonymous
