Still my favourite low-budget little hotel in London
One of the best low-budget hotels to stay in central London, with a great location very close to Earls Court tube station. No frills, but a nice breakfast, friendly staff and an excellent price. I recommend this for anyone not too fussy about room quality but eager for a decent place to stay on a budget.
The bedrooms are modern and tastefully designed, offering a warm relaxing atmosphere. The bedrooms have only shower in the room and sharing toilet/WC and are fully equipped with colour television and telephone.

wireless internet didn't work, had to ask staff to reset router, be aware. No lift in hotel, stayed on 4th floor, it was a pain to carry my luggage upstairs. Wall paper falling off the ceiling, stairs squikling, felt like they were going to collapse. Most of the staff were friendly, except the one does the grave yard shift. Breakfast was good. I knew what I was getting for what I paid for (cheap for London's standards), so not complaining. Just don't expect the hotel to be a paradise, as it is not.
I would not complain about cleanlinees or facilities since this was one of the cheapest hotels in this part of the city (great location) but there is one big trouble with this hotel. From 5 AM till 11PM there is running train just under your windows every 5 min, noise is horrible !!!! So unless you are not early bird do not choose this hotel !
Keep in mind the price of these rooms. It is not the cleanliest or most kept hotel that I have stayed at. It is dirty, stained, peeling wallpaper, and rickety. I always had clean towels and hot water. The bed was comfortable. I might stay here again.
This place is a bit of a mixed bag. I choose the dirt cheap room and there is a reason for it. The mattresses are completely shot. If you can't sleep on a board, then you might want to get a higher priced room where the bed quality will be just sufficient so you can sleep. Other posters have mentionned that it is on the 4th floor and it is a climb, plus you might get the room without the remote control for the TV. The place is well heated so no issues being warm at night which has happened to me at some places. The breakfast included is basic. Toast, cereal, juice and coffee but it is a nice touch.
arrived 10pm at night. no hot water until the morning. basic, bit worn around the edges, but a clean, cheap place to sleep while in london
Could do with a makeover, but good value for the price. Would stay again.
The hotel did not have my reservation on file when I checked in. Fortunately, I brought a copy of my receipt, so they were able to accommodate me. Construction was going on next door, which I could hear from time to time. Please note, as with most hotels in the area, there are no lifts, so let them know in advance if you require special needs. Continental breakfast was nice, but it is only available for 1 hr.
Still my favourite low-budget hotel in London. I have stayed there on and off for over 20 years, and though everything is a bit threadbare I guarantee you wont find a better priced place so close to everything and with such a friendly atmosphere. Dont expect too much luxury, but there are many hotels in London that charge twice as much for the standards here. Recommended.
Always a pleasant place to stay in London. I have been going back for 20 years, and though some of the rooms are a little threadbare and not everything is perfect, you really can’t beat the price, location and friendly staff. Far, far better than anything else in this price category and very close to the tube station. Recommended!
Tiny room, but for a place to sleep that is close to many restaurants and a subway stop, it was fine. It was a few minutes from the subway, so it was not too noisy. Breakfast was fine. A good place to save on hotel costs.
This is a very basic hotel, and the facilities are very limited, for example there's no Wi-Fi, or kettle in the room. However the location is good for Earls Court and West London in general, and it does have some very friendly and courteous staff. Do note that it has very steep stairs, and is on four floors, so not ideal for anyone with mobility problems, or who is unfit!
exterior of hotel impressive though its rather basic tho good value for money however I did ask to be changed rooms due to poor standard of the single room- however I would consider staying here again
i really appreciate the service and the staff of green court hotel, Earls court UK, they treated me well and they are also customer friedly.
This Hotel was very basic, I can say the bed linen was clean and fresh laundered as were the towels, the room was small [single] but did have an ensuite, no soaps etc. provided, as breakfast was only served between 8 and 9am unable to comment on that, as I had left before 8am and no option offered! Would not rush to stay here again! Should really need to be closed down for a complete refurbishment.
Very old facilities, no lift needless to say. I was on the top floor and had to carry my 40kg-suitcase by myself all the way, which was pretty much a hard work. The receptionist who I talked to was presumably willing to help me out for the inquiry, but did not speak good English and was not of much help actually. Still, the location was very good when you are carrying heavy luggage and traveling from/to the Heathrow airport. There are only a few tube stations which has wheel chair facilities such as lift and slope in London, and Earl's Court, which is the closest station to this hotel and directly leads to the airport as well, is one of them. Pricing is reasonable as other people say.
Be sure to get a room that´s not located near the reception cause there is a door beep sound everytime someone arrives or leaves the hotel, pretty disturbing at nights.
Locatin, location, location - great. Breakfast was continental and fine with me - enough and in pleasant surroundings. All in all I was happy, for the 30 pounds I paid, I got reasonable service.
I am a great believer in the 'You Get What you Pay for' maxim. The hotel was cheap and available and in the perfect location for me. It was about what I expected - no frills, old furnishings that had had seen better days, but it was fit for purpose. The bedroom carpet was stained, along with the soft furnishings and bed, but I have no complaints given the very competitive price. As for service, I missed breakfast but the staff allowed me a coffee, toast and juice, which they didn't have to as the mistake was mine. I would recommend the hotel to others as long as they are realistic in their expectations.
