"I recently stayed at Greenmount Beach Resort, I was terribley disappointed! There has been no refurbishment since i stayed there 25 years ago, the carpet was the same and on the floor that we stayed on and was held together with tape in some areas. So for me it was not the best place to stay, whilst the room was clean, only 1 elevator was working. I chose to stay there beacause it was so fresh and clean all those years ago, I would stay there again if it had a refurbishment , other wise not. The tv had no remote and the front was missing off the television, the bed was sagging on both sides and the pillows were flat!! It was a last minute idea to head to coolangatta for teh weekend next time i think I will take a closer look and not choose a place unless I can see the room first!" - Anonymous
"Although the hotel has probably one of the best location in Coolangatta, the property is really run-down. It needs major maintenance/updating. The room was old and basic. They still use blankets and there is no remote control for the TV. The major concern was the lack of cleanliness throughout the property. The Spa and spa pool waters were muggy. The Sauna was out of order and you could see that it has not been working for a very long time. The few plants around the hotel were dying. The breakfast was very basic and the table clothes were all torn apart. I would not recommend this hotel nor stay there again. " - Anonymous
"Have stayed at resort over the past 20 years and was saddened to see how tired it has become. Had lovely dinner at restaurant but the whole building is in great need of a makeover. The position is its biggest drawcard." - Anonymous
"It was great value. Great position, across from the beach, the pool was a hit with the kids. The room TV was dissapointing however..very poor reception. But overall a nice place." - Anonymous
