great value and we would definitely stay there again

The service was great loved coming home to a nice smelling room with fresh towels everyday. Having a restaurant on site a great asset and the food was excellent.

On arrival we were met by our friendly and helpful manager, we were speedily processed and went to our room, a room that was clean,warm and spaceous enough for our purpose. The Grovenor was an easy 10 min walk from Waikato stadium and with the RWC starting in Sept. it was nice to see a hotel that was interested in cost effectiveness and there guests than making a fast buck.

Generally the accommodation was quite dated and expectation in the description generally did not deliver. However the room was clean and the staff were accommodating for a late check-in

so clean and realy friendly staff. The place has got some signs of old age, and maybe the pool area can do with an update, but the main overall impresion is realy good. and close to the city centre aswell (10 min walk)

This place was great for children. Had use of pool and also on site restaurant but despite this being closed for Easter, we were recommended to an excellent place down the road which was child friendly and good value. Very accommodating for a late booking for a cot and at a very reasonable price. Really enjoyed stay - will definitely be booking this place again and recommending it to others.

We found our 3 day stay in a spa/studio unit at the Grosvenor Motor Inn most enjoyable. Very courteous and welcoming staff, a well-run restaurant and bar plus a good-sized indoor heated swimming pool made for a very pleasant stay. Our room was very quiet in the block furthest from the main road and overlooked a school playing field. Although we were in 5 minute walking distance to Westpac stadium and Seddon Park, it was a long walk to the main shopping and cafe area, we had to take the car.

Excellent Accomadation.. best in Hamilton! Excellent service and nothing too much bother!! Will stay again and tell others about it. Great beds and quiet.. Excellent swimming pool! Don't miss out!!

The shower had no pressure what-so-ever. I had to stand with my nose 4 inches from the wall to get wet. The front face was also falling off the bath. Overall a nice place to stay

My children and I stayed there for a week but unfortunately we had a room with no cooking facilities. the Motel was full so we couldn't change rooms but were a little disappointed they didn't try and accommodate us a little better. They did offer to hire us a microwave at $8 per day. We ate in the restaurant once and the food and service was fantastic. Wish we had more money and we would have eaten there more! Apart from lack of cooking facilities our stay there was pleasant. The pool kept the kids busy and was warm enough for spring. Would stay there again but if for more than a couple of nights I would need to have access to a kitchen!!

we were not given the room we wanted through the internet, however the owner was happy to adjust things and we ended up getting excatly what we paid for , the room was lovely and just right for a night away together , it had a few surprises like the built in radio and large tv .The bed was to hard for us and the noise from the road was difficult to get past in the early morning hours , pity really as this room has great potential!!

We booked two rooms for the weekend, They were reasonable and tidy. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Very good location. Would stay again

We slept in unit 37. The double bed spring mattress is finished so your head is lower than your feet. To alleviate, we decide to sleep head to toes. We rearranged the blankets and bed cover, and I ended up with an allergic reation to dust. I am not that sensitive, but this is a sign that bed cover/ woollen blanket are not aired out and cleaned regularly. The exhaust fan in the bathroom works but doesn't pull any air out. Else, the place was very quiet and well located. I will not return there though.

We enjoyed our stay and found all the owners and staff to be extremely friendly, courteous, helpful, and professional. The rooms were clean and nicely maintained. Great spa bath and the kids loved the pool. The only criticism would be that the beds were too soft (not firm mattresses) and the bathroom was a little bit too cold. Nice children's menu from the restaurant as well! But the cheeseplatter needed more cheese! : )

Building is abit old and tired but the staff were really nice and helpful
