"Nice large room in character building, although could have benefitted from a table or desk. Bathroom was very nice and modern but no shampoo or hairdryer provided. Good substantial breakfast included in room price. WiFi extra. Other places we stayed around Europe provided WiFi free of charge. Nice quiet location and free parking. Hotel Gulden Vlies is a small bed and breakfast hotel in a stately
mansion from the early 20th century with some unique art-deco
architectural details. You'll enjoy a warm
welcome, lots of tourist information and a delicious breakfast buffet.
The hotel is easy to reach, 10 minutes walking from the marketsquare
plenty of free parking facility near the hotel. Why look further?

| Getting there: |
With the car the easiest way is to follow the E40 until you see a sign for Brugge (exit 8). You stay on the N31 until you see a sign for Brugge (center). You're on the N351/Bevrijdingslaan . At the third lights you turn left onto the ringroad (R30) up to Ezelpoort ( one of the old entrance gates into the center over the water). The hotel is on the right side of the road.
On our side of the street there is a parkinglimit of 4 hours (from 9am to 7pm). It's best to park the car on the other side of the street where you can leave the car as long as you want for free.
If you come by train you can take bus nr. 3 or 13 up to busstop Ezelpoort. Our hotel is just diagonally across the street
