A charming, elegant and tranquil Georgian Townhouse in central Brighton, located on the picturesque New Steine square. Following recent refurbishment, the Gullivers has re-opened with a mix of baroque and contemporary design incorporating a unique attention to detail and the most personal and friendly of service. From the moment you arrive to your departure, you will be truly looked after. During check-in you can take in the relaxing surroundings of our Gullivers Lounge and Hallways - surrounded by original artwork and caricature murals - you will be personally shown to your bedroom and all the facilities your room has to offer will be explained. Throughout your stay staff are on hand to assist with any query you may have, and on check-out (after a hearty breakfast, of course), we will ensure you an efficient and memorable departure, wishing you a pleasant journey and hoping you return again soon. A personalised concierge service is at the guests' disposal 24 hours a day for all requirements and needs and each of the bedrooms has been designed to incorporate comfort and style with modern needs, suiting both leisure and corporate clients alike.

Getting there:
From Brighton train station a short taxi ride costs approximately £5.00 or the No.'s 7, 14, 27 or 712 bus goes to the New Steine. By car, the A23 ends opposite Brighton Pier; turn left onto Marine Parade and the New Steine is the 10th road on the left. By coach, turn left out of the coach station onto Marine Parade and the New Steine Hotel is a 2 minute walk away.

Check-in Procedure:
You can check in at any time, however we do not guarantee the rooms till 2pm but please do make your way to the hotel where we will help you to store your luggage and start enjoying Brighton straight away

Car parking:
Parking Parking in Brighton isn't easy! However Gulliver's Hotel offers voucher parking for £5.00 per 24 hours! These vouchers are for the residence bays around the hotel which are safe and secure. There is also an NCP car park nearby (off St James Street which is marked on the map above) or parking in the Square on the meters (free between 6pm and 9am).

The flush of the toilets did not work. Impossible to sleep with the seagulls on the roof. Difficult to park the car. The breakfast was good and the service was correct.

The floor board need serious attention. They creek like mad and if your trying to sleep and someone is in the room above you can't sleep. Other than that for the price is was OK.

Gulliver's claims to be recently refurbished but is showing signs of tiredness, decor, etc. Fittings are second rate, e.g., power shower a mere dribble. Great if you get a special room rate but you may feel aggrieved with the overall quality you get for the advertised standard rates.

excellent location , good breakfast . disappointed that there was no bar in the hotel but you can use the bar in the sister hotel next door . Room was small but cosy . Provided a good room service , we rang and asked for hot drinks late at night even though we had tea/ coffee facilities but they were more than happy to bring the drinks to our room and did nt charge us the earth for them . It was a pleasant stay

Great location. Excellent helpful staff and good choice of breakfasts. Our room was on the top floor up many flights of narrow stairs so wouldn't be suitable for elderly, disabled or families with young children. Nice room but bathroom very staff and in need of re-furbishment.

The previous eve to arriving in Brighton, We wanted some more info and called the hotel directly. Staff named Celine picked up, was quite abrupt and short. Advised to call back in the morning. Arrived at the hotel, she was smiling, seemed helpful and effecient. Room 7 was, bright, airy, clean. facing the road. A male staff member served us breakfast. Felt like he wasn't happy to be there and felt that we were using up his valuable time. Didn't ask type of bread for toast we wanted & put some on the table. The following morning a new Spanish female staff member served us. She couldn't do enough for us. The windows, walls, doors and floors didn't have alot of sound proofing. We could hear peson in the next building. The hotel opposite was being refurbished so could hear the drilling. while my friend was in the ensuite could hear her moving about, the floor was quite creaky and the door didn't stop much noise coming into the room. Service was hit&miss depending on who you get.
