H10 Itaca Hotel Barcelona

The hotel is conveniently located a major train station, but it is a bit beyond walking distance to the main part of the city. Nevertheless, it offers great value for money. The rooms have a modern decor and the washroom was quite spacious, with a very extensive washroom amenities collection offered! Recommended if you don`t mind not being within easy reach of the main tourist areas of the city.

We were satisfied with our night in the hotel, but our initial contact was not too impressive. We had to wait for some minutes while the receptionist took calls and had conversations on the phone. Do you need two staff on the reception desks ? Otherwise fine, and thank you for the complimentary champagne.

Good clean modern hotel. Lots of traffic noise in street but well insulated. Nice welcome with glass of champagne and nibbles. Slightly pretentious but don't let that put you off.

Very small room - luckily there was only one person in the room. Breakfast ok - but hot food was cold. Staff efficient. Close to main railway station - Sants Estacio - and to Metro but not close to main tourist sites and central Barcelona - have to use Metro - about 5 stops to Placa Catalunya. Lots of local restaurants in the area. Overall - I wouldn't stay here again if I returned to Barcelona.

Location good, near metro (Tarragona) and station. Brekfast was excellent, staff helpfull. Near station aerobus to Aeroport.

Unbelievable!! Champagne on arrival ,nibblies at the door. Great service.Luggage storage. Very friendly helpfull satff and just 4 minutes walk to Sants station..perfect for rail travellers. The open top tour buses leave from Sants station so very convenient for self giuded tourists. Great breakfast. The hotel has arestaurant but it is expensive. Highly recommended.

The service and room were excellent. Great value for money. Easy access to Las Ramblas and other places of interest too.

Hotel is undergoing renovation of equipment and furnishings. In my room shower and air-condition did not function 100% properly.

It was not possible to open the window, and it was not fixed. It got very warm. Very good breakfast.

The staff were also very helpful.

Itaca could not be better located for transport - 2 minutes walk from Tarragona metro station, 5 minutes from Sants railway station. While the rooms are a little small, they are clean, modern and well maintained. There is no need to be in the rooms when there is the whole of Barcelona on the doorstep anyway! If you are back at the hotel mid afternoon, take time to enjoy the free nibbles in the covered courtyard. Thanks to all the staff for their friendly and efficient service. I would certainly hope to return to Barcelona and the Itaca hotel.

Clean efficient modern and close to Sants Estacio for Metro connections. Away from the noisy city centre. Terrific breakfast and courteous staff. Excellent for the price.

Friendly staff and excellent service. The breakfast selection was wide and fresh. The location is ideal and free internet access was a bonus.

Rooms a bit on the small side, and have seen better days. Very clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly, The breakfast is very good.

Internet access was very slow. Firefox browser was not installed, so did not feel comfortable opening my mail. Room was good.

This hotel is fantastic. The location, the amenities, the breakfast buffet, the English speaking staff, their service, and the overall cleanliness was all superb. In the reception they have two superfast computers with Internet access which they don't charge you to use. The location was perfect - train station nearby, supermarket adjacent. The breakfast buffet was the most extensive I have ever seen.

The breakfasts were excellent, though did miss tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Excellent hotel with extremely helpful staff. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, with over 40 hot and cold dishes to choose from. They were of the highest quality. There was free internet and computer access in the lobby. I would stay in this hotel again.
