H10 Montcada Hotel Barcelona

The place is not perfect but its a great deal. The main draw about it is the location. It located in the perfect place if you are planning on walking around the city center and its only about 1-2 km from the beach. And if you dont plan on walking the metro is right in front of the building. The roof top deck is very nice especially during the sunset; great view of barcelona from the roof. Pros: Location, nice room, clean, nice bathroom, helpful staff Cons: Room was a bit small, since its directly above the metro you can hear the trains going by

Received a glass of cava upon arrival. joined the H10 club on the spot and received two free drinks and a complimentary upgrade to a nice junior suite in a quiet room with a beautiful view of the city. rooftop area is gorgeous. couldn't have been much better really, outstanding value. i recommend H10 for a great spot proximate to born and gothic districts.

We stayed one night here and it was a nice hotel. Received complimentary breakfast. We were going a cruise and the staff very supportive to get us a cab to the port. Nice roof top bar. Beautiful view. I would stay there again.

This Hotel is well positioned to take advantage of the sights of Barcelona. The room was above average. The breakfasts were as good as anything experienced, anywhere in the world. The roof top bar provided good views and ambience in the evenings.

Excellent location, very helpful and friendly staff, excellent breakfast and very nice room. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the H10 Montcada in Barcelona 17th to 22nd December 2010, and can only say the service was excellent. The rooms although a little tight, were clean and functional. The staff in all departments we very friendly and the buffet breakfast is a must, with great selection of hot and cold food and drinks inc a breakfast Cava if you wish!

Nice hotel next to Jaume 1 metro station. Easy to walk to the shopping areas and the Ramblas.

Great location with pleasant staff and clean rooms. Breakfast buffet, not so great. Beds in our room, the smallest beds I have ever seen in a hotel room.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff and fantastic location just opposite Cathedral and 10 min walk to harbour area. Good Coffee shop and bar opposite the hotel next to metro station. Loved the roof top terrace!

This hotel was fantastic. I could not fault this hotel at all.

Excellent location. Room was small but comfortable with a very nice bathroom. Good breakfast. Staff were helpful. We would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

On the whole, we were very pleased. Check-in was from 3 pm, though, which is a bit late. The Reception people didn't answer any of the two e-mails that I sent before arrival, and we had to pay 1 euro for each suitcase for letting them stay in the hotel until the hour of departure on the last day. I guess these things don't mean a whole lot in the end, but they are the type of small things that mark the difference between a good and a great hotel, in my opinion.

Great little hotel in a pretty good area. Not a giant room but all you need for a short stay. I would happily stay there again and recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona. Excellent breakfast - didnt try dinner. Great value for money

Close to Shops and Tourist Spots. Hotel room was small but compact and had been recently renovated.

Small but nice room. First floor above the main entrance, so obviously some traffic noise. Perfect location. Excellent breakfast buffet with a reasonable price (10 euros per person). Friendly staff. I would gladly stay at this hotel on my next trip to Barcelona as well.

Its a basic hotel, a room and a shower. There isn't much in the way of facilities. Also in regards to the cleaning of the rooms, our room floor wasn't swept or cleaned all week.

The hotel is very well located opposite the cathedral and a short walk to the on/off bus which is a great way to get around on a 2 day pass. The room however was difficult as my girl friend and I had to share a double bed. There were no twins available when we arrived.

Rooms are small, but modern and comfortable. Location is supurb.

Excellent location close to the port where most of the heritage and culture of Barcelona can be found. Room we stayed in was small but cosy. Staff were friendly and very accommodating given the language barriers. Nice bar and relaxing area with a very chic restaurant adjoining for breakfast (included). Highly recommend.

We recently spent 4 nights at the Montcada prior to our Mediterranean cruise. The hotel was in a great location within walking distance to La Ramblas, restaurants and lots of tourist attractions. It was also conveniently close to the port area. The rooms were small but comfortable and clean. The buffet breakfast was excellent.
