"WE HAVE JUST HAD A FANTASTIC HOLIDAY IN BARCELONA STAYING AT THE H10 MONTCADA. THE HOTEL WAS FANTASTIC-VERY CENTRAL FOR ALL THE SIGHTS. ROOMS WERE VERY CLEAN AND TOWELS WERE CHANGED DAILY. "As noted by other travelers - the bed mattress is VERY HARD. It is equivalent (in the USA) to a box spring without a top mattress. When we complained, the hotel was very nice and brought a thin top mattress and remade the bed. That helped a lot but the bed was still very hard.

Opened in 2002, the H10 MONTCADA Hotel is located in Barri Gòtic, behind the Cathedral, and only a few steps from Les Rambles, Plaça de Catalunya, Passeig de Gràcia, Picasso Museum, Gran Teatre del Liceu, the main shopping and museums area in town and the Mediterranean Sea.
The 87 rooms, including specially adapted rooms, are made up twice a day and offer personal direct dial telephone, alarm clock, satellite TV, free WIFI connection, safety box, air conditioning/central heating and some rooms have minibar. Bathroom is fully eqquipped with hairdryer, magnifying mirror and H10 amenities.
H10 Montcada Restaurant is specialised in Mediterranean cuisine and offers a delicious breakfast with a large selection of home-made pastries. Lobby Bar is open from noon till 11 p.m.
