Accommodation At Half Moon Bay Resort We have 12 fully self contained one bedroom apartments which are set in lush tropical gardens opposite the picturesque Half Moon Bay Golf Course. Our complex has a freeform salt water pool with spa pool attached and BBQ area for your enjoyment. All of our apartments are one bedroom with queen size bed in the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and double sofa bed in the lounge. They sleep a maximum of 4 people. Each apartment has kitchen and laundry facilities, ceiling fans, colour television, STD direct dial telephone, air-conditioning and a private balcony. Every apartment has undercover off-street parking, Half Moon Bay Resort is within easy walking distance of local restaurants, the Half Moon Bay Yacht Club and marina, and the Yorkeys Knob shopping centre. Star Apple restaurant is located directly opposite the Resort.

Getting there:If self driving proceed North from Airport on capt Cook Highway Turn right at Yorkeys Knob Sign. On reaching Yorkeys Knob Shopping centre take next turn LEFT into Wattle Street. Proceed to Resort which is on left side of Wattle Street ( 101-103 )

The apartment was very comfortable with a separate bedroom and fully equiped kitchen. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood, across the street from a golf course. Very quiet and clean place. Make sure to have dinner at the Yorkeys Knob Boating Club about a mile from the Apartments. It has a fantastic deck, good inexpensive meals.
Yorkey's Knob is only 7km from Cairns Airport. The rooms had just been renovated and the facilities were excellent and the owners very friendly. There are 2 restaurants in town, one of them being at the Boat Club with a free courtesy bus running each evening - very handy. The other restaurant is a take-away with a few tables, good food and friendly.
One bedroom apartment with ensuite,Lounge with double sofa bed for additional 2 people. Kitchen facilities with microwave, Full laundry facilities, Colour TV and Austar cable TV with free movies and sports channels, WiFizone Wireless Broadband.

I loved staying here. The apartment was wonderful - comfortable and quiet. Carolynne and John are a delightful couple - very helpful, warm and kind people. I was sad to leave.

The managers at Half Moon Bay Apartments are exceptional. They helped us with several situations that arose and were very open and friendly. We would definately stay there again. We rate our stay there as excellent. The appartment is very nice and clean.

We stayed at the apartmenst for 4 nights/days taking advantage of the stay for 3, recieve the 4th night free. Great value for the family vacation. The managerial staff were very helpful with events happening around cairns and also completed our bookings for tours. The room was adequate/comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. Recommend to any tourists heading to Cairns.
We really enjoyed the quiet, laid-back atmosphere in Yorkey's Knob. The owners at Half Moon Bay are wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable. The apartment is very well arranged and pleasant. I would definitely recommend the resort to anyone.

It was lovely and cosy, however there was no oven and the room was quite small. The service was very good with transport and extra nights. All in all a good place for a relaxing holiday.
