"The resort is beautifu & well kept. However just worth noting the 2 bedroom villas are not villas they are apartments in quite high rise blocks, 5 or 6 floors. I would estimate. They are away from the resort centre which makes them quieter but it also means that you are furthest from the sea/beach & pools. The apartments/Condo's are luxurious though and very clean so I would not like this to put you off. If you are looking for a resort to move in and stay put for a few days this resort is great. If you are staying here as part of a sightseeing holiday you are convenient to St Augustine & only about 1.5hrs from the Kennedy Space Centre but get your tourist info before arriving as they don't have any tourist info on site. I have never stayed at a hotel anywhere else in the world where there was no tourist info & the concierge did not have any details either! " - Deborah Hutchins

Hammock Beach Resort, easily accessible off the Palm Coast exit of I-95, is located 20 miles north of Daytona Beach, 45 miles south of downtown Jacksonville and 80 miles east of Orlando. Guests can fly a number of commercial airlines into the Daytona Beach Airport, the Jacksonville International Airport or Orlando International Airport; or they may fly a private plane into the Bunnell Airport that’s just 15 minutes from the resort. |
