Hanoi Capital Hotel

Very nice small hotel clean and staff very helpful. a bit difficult to find since in the small road. Near the lake (5 min walk) many small shop to eat in 2 min walk Room Small but OK for Hanoi

The staff were very friendly and very helpful and no problem communicating as their English was quite good. No problem with street noise from the room we were given. Staff were helpful with booking a tour with them to Halong Bay. The position was about a 5 minute walk from most of the restaurants and the lake.

This hotel is on a small street(relatively quiet for Hanoi) and still in the hub of the city. The staff is very helpful, friendly and pleasant. Good room and good bathroom with frig, TV and telefoon. Internet in the breakfast room. There was no safe in the room i stayed in but i left my valubles with the reception as i trusted them completely. The breakfast was very good with a choice of western and Vietnamese food. Lots of fresh fruit and juices as well. The hotel also arranged a taxi to meet me at the ariport. Marion The Neterlands

We arrived at our Hotel after 9 at night. When walking past the restaurant/breakfast area to get to the lift, we noticed somone sleeping on a mattress in the restaurant area.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, and they kept the room clean on a daily basis. Although the bathroom was small, we had great water pressure the water supply to the shower and sink was well heated. The breakfast buffet wasn't much of a buffet at all, but is fine if you're not picky. The hotel is about 5 to 10 minutes walk to the Old Quarter and is on a quiet street.

Hanoi Capital has a young, enthusiatic, helpful and friendly team, including the owner Mr. Hoang. N. Vietnam was hit by the cold wave during our visit (in January). We stayed at a no. of hotels, but we enjoyed proper heating and relief from the cold only at Hanoi Capital where this basic need was met. The room was also clean and pleasant. The hotel is situated in the Old Quarters, at a quiet side-street and yet is within short distance to places of interest eg the night markets and Dong Xuan market and the Hoan Kiem Lake. Only minor minus we encountered is that there are some small workshop activities that are undertaken at a couple of streets in the neighbourhood. It doesn't look too pretty but does not affect our stay. The rate was certainly good value.

We were very impressed with the staff and their helpfulness. They went extraordinarily out of their way. Arranged great tours and checked on us often. there kindness was way above expectations. It was really nice to see the effort and positive attitude held by all staff. I would recommend staying here very highly. By far our best experience in Vietnam!
