A 40 minute drive from Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi lakeView Hotel is situated in the center of the city and surrounded by scenic lakes and parks, yet is only moment away from prominent office locations, historic and popular shopping areas. Customers will be highly satisfied with the excellent accommodation and facilities in the hotel which rarely can be found in other 3 star hotels in Hanoi. The hotel overlooking to the Lake and parks, every rooms possess a nice view of the City or Lake, with nice and large bancoly, sparkling decoration, with air-conditioners, cable TVs, a mini bar, IDD telephone, hair-dryer, Tea & coffee making facilities. The staff were friendly and keen to help. Overall the hotel was clean but tired looking, with an odour of cigarette smoke in the air. The tour packages done from the hotel were good and worth inquiring about.

The staff are friendly. Room is clean and bright. Comparing with other hotels with similar prices, this hotel is a good choice.

We stayed in a twin room in this hotel for three nights while touring around Vietnam. We found the service and hospitality to be good, however only one staff member could speak english well. The hotel itself and the rooms are rather small but it's clean and cosy and has been recently renovated. There is a travel desk in the hotel with reasonably priced packages to Halong Bay. We also enjoyed the Hanoi city tour that the hotel organised for us. The laundry service was cheap at this hotel.

The hotel is new and clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Depending on individuals, find it quite convenience to move around. It is about 30 mins walk to the Old Quarter, approximately 10 mins by Taxi.

Budget hotel managed by friendly family members with friendly and helpful non-English speaking staff. Good quiet location for relaxing stay. 30 minutes walk (or by taxi 1USD to 2USD) from touristy areas of Old Quarter. Spartan furnishings but good value for money. Only problem in my room was the shower: low water pressure and no hot water (but hot water supply to the wash basin was ok).
