"Being in Old Town can make access dificult. Electrical sockets of most unusual type not seen before, no plugs traceable in Hanoi to fit; had to unplug supplied computer from extension lead and connect own two pin extension lead to connect cameras, phones and computer to enable charging.
Noise from nightclub next door sounded like distressed diesel engine on 4th floor, on 1st floor would need ear pads if UK health and safety laws applied.

"The location is good for bars and restaurants nearby. However, a new nightclub opened right next door during our week there at the end of April 09. The music from this nightclub started at 8.30pm and finished by 11.45pm and it was loud and thumping and we and other guests we spoke to were unable to sleep until after the music stopped." - warwick georgeson
"The hotel was being renovated while we were there which meant quite a lot of disruption. We did not recieve a city view as promised. The towels were very worn and grey in colour. The staff, however, were friendly and helpful. Good location" - Kylie Peattie
