"Plus points
Very close to the new town.
Rooms had been recently refurbished -new carpet and beds
Rooms clean - although ensuite ceiling dirty?
Negative
Bottles being removed late at night so if you go to bed before 11 expect to be disturbed.
Reception not good at solving problems
TV only 1 - 4" - Terence Jee
"This was just a random choice for accommodation in Edinburgh but proved to be the best and most central accommodtion during our trip, which included London and Paris. Cheap, extra clean and being in the centre of Edinburgh was within easy walking distance to all amenities and attractions." - Anne McLaren
"Very complicated access by car due to major road works. No parking facilities near the hotel. Very expensive parking meters 5 min. walk from hotel. " - Mogens Toft
"The hotel was indeed a bit noisy, due to the pub downstairs with live music, but nothing unbearable.
The bathroom was huge and clean with a modern shower, the beds were comfy and the price for 2 nights was a real deal!
The only minus: the hairdrier wasn't working...
I'd stay there again next time in Edinburgh." - Biancamaria Piazzi
