Studio units are open plan, motel style, with a kitchen and ensuite. They have a double bed, bunks and a couch that folds out to make another double if necessary.
Studio units are equipped with cooking facilities, kitchen utensils, air-conditioning,
fans and colour TV. There's an outdoor setting on the verandah.
All linen, blankets and towels are supplied.

Villas 4 star AAAT rated.
Are self contained, with a fully equipped kitchen including microwave, full size oven, fridge, all crockery and cutlery. They also have colour TV, DVD player, and air conditioning.The villas are built in a duplex arrangement with a sliding verandah partition for privacy. This can be locked back to provide a shared verandah area when friends or family are next door. The verandah area has an outdoor setting and is shaded by sails. All linen is provided in the villas, as well as complimentary starter pack of tea and coffee.

The Happy Wanderer Village is situated in a quiet street, an easy 300 m stroll from the beach. It's away from the bustle, yet easy to find direct off Boat Harbour Drive - the road into Hervey Bay. Public transport picks up from outside the gate, as do the RSL and Boat Club courtesy buses. Tour companies as well, of course.
You'll be able to get everything you need within about a two kilometre radius of the park. A major supermarket is close by as well as all the shops in the Torquay village area, including bakers, butcher, newsagent and pub.
Within easy reach you will also find bowling clubs, a variety of restaurants and take aways, sailing clubs and sporting facilities. Nearby, as well, you'll find catamaran and jetski hire. Also tennis, squash courts & skating rink. Golf clubs are a short drive away.

Hervey Bay is a 45 minute direct flight from Brisbane or an 85 minute direct flight from Sydney. Shuttle bus meets all flights and is a 10 minute transfer to Happy Wanderer Village. Alternatively 3.5 hours drive north of Brisbane. All coaches call in to Hervey Bay at Bay Centro, and the Taxi would be about 10 minutes. |
